Seeing the quality and detail of the gt500, I was woundering how many people would think a chitty chitty bang bang car would be an amazing build, there are currently no kits available since the moulds were lost back in the late 60s, as a true beauty of a car I for one would love to build a good replica model

1/8 scale with all the cool gadgets of the real (movie) car I'd be in for one.

All the gadgets would be amazing or even just the basic car to keep it all afordable although would give a great option for a number of builds

Yup. count me in for that. Can you imagine a 1/8 scale, die cast beauty. . .I'd scrounge and find the pennies for that one

I'm much more into real track or road cars than I am "movie" cars, but Chitty Chitty Bang Bang could be an exception to that for me.  It would have to have old school Pocher level detail though.  I'm talking real metal, hex screws, and the like.  No exposed phililps heads are gonna get me to spend $1000+ on a fantasy car model.
