  1. An update for anyone who has read this thread. A package arrived on March 2 with the parts I've been patiently waiting for, two Pack 2's and two Pack 4's. Hopefully that will be it.
  2. Friday Feb 25, 2022. 84 days and counting. Very disheartening. And I really wanted to build this kit. How difficult is it to get a box into the hands of the delivery people and keep your customer satisfied?
  3. I truly hope that is true. I received the tracking number Monday, Feb. 14, 2022. Today is Friday, Feb. 18, 2022. Five business days and DPD still says, We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly Not very encouraging. 78 days and counting I just want what I paid for.
  4. Nice find MikeH. Thank you.
  5. 74 days ago I received an email shipping notification from DPD delivery that my Pack 2's were on the way. Clicking on the tracking number to this day generates this message: We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly' February 7, I was told it had been shipped and collected, but no tracking number. February 14 I received another shipping notification from DPD with a new tracking number. Clicking on it generates this message: We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly' The package has been shipped and collected yet DPD doesn't have it. Why would that be? I paid for a product. Will you please, Agora models, deliver my product? 74 days and counting. A quote from Sam just above "They will all be with you soon, we expressed the urgency to the warehouse & DPD. Thanks" Someone's not in a hurry.
  6. When you ship a package with a carrier the tracking number is generated immediately. Yet I was told today the Packs had been shipped but were waiting for DPD to generate the tracking numbers. If they were shipped on Monday why is there no tracking number today - Friday? Draw your own conclusions. Why say it has been shipped when it has not? These are very basic questions, yet I receive no answers.
  7. Hi Sam, This email is from Monday: Customer Service (Agora Models) 7 Feb 2022, 17:50 GMT Hi Mark, These two packs have shipped and been collected. I will have the tracking details tomorrow, the warehouse knew it was urgent. Do you already have the tracking numbers for Pack 3? They were also both sent. Pack 4 ships on Friday too. I just wanted you to be updated. Thank you, Sophie So it was shipped Monday? And now you say it ships next week? You've waited 69 days to tell me DPD lost the packages? If they shipped Monday I should have them already if the warehouse knew it was urgent. Let's make sure it's convenient for you, not the customer. Very unsatisfactory handling of this.
  8. Hi John, An update on my dilemma. As of today - 2-9-2022 - I've been waiting 68 days (DPD notification) / 64 days(agora notification) for two Pack 2's. I've contacted CS several times. Last week I was told they had shipped again and would arrive early this week. Nope. The most recent saying they would send them again this week with Pack 4''s. No tracking number given. Not at all sure why Agora are treating me this way. Very unprofessional. Very dis-heartening. These would be such great kits. Sadly, I cancelled one kit. James, Liam is this the Agora promise? Cheers, wyatt
  9. For those seeking a little bit more accuracy, do an image search for 'Routemaster B frame' and/or Routemaster suspension. The 'B' frame is the rear suspension. The London Transport Museum has some good photos of this unit as does flickr. The part in question is from Pack 2 (which I still haven't received) - stage 12(left) & 13(right). Parts 12k & 13k(brake lines) should be a solid bar, NOT a black rubber hose. This linkage is the emergency brake linkage. This solid bar should connect parts 12gs on the left and 13gs on the right. If someone has better information please share with us. Hope this helps.
  10. This won't be a full build from me, I'm really slow, just a teaser of some of the kit parts and what a little OCD can do. It's a very nice kit so far. I'm up to Box 6 (from IXO) so it's good to see Agora pick this up. Hand over the wallet you know you want it. Cheers, wyatt
  11. I placed my order and they are in hand. Really quick shipping to the US. They are beautifully done and of very high quality. Should make quite a difference when it comes to installing them, which is a fair ways off. Peter also responds very quickly. If you want your RM to be a bit different from the others this is a good way to go. I give these posters - 👍👍👍👍👍. Thank you Peter! wyatt
  12. Hi Dave, Do you know the correct/official color for the wheels of the RM's? Julian -'Wheels and Steps modifications' thread- pointed out that the color isn't red but a burgundy color. Thank you, wyatt
  13. Looking good Julian. Many thanks for the tip on the color for the wheels. I've collected hundreds of pictures of Rm's for reference and I did not catch that detail. Thank you.
  14. Hi Mick, I received an email notification that my Pack 3 was being shipped. How long it takes for the package to actually get to the post office is the question. Keep us posted. wyatt
  15. Well, don't I feel like the unwanted step child. Been waiting 42 days and no one knows where the Packs are. Sadly, no explanation. But I was asked if I can wait till the end of January to have them shipped. Sure, no problem. What's another 15 days. Cheers.
  16. Hello Peter, Welcome aboard and thanks for the video. Quite the varied subject matter in your models. wyatt
  17. So, I was notified Dec. 3, 2021 by DPD that my package was shipped. As of today (1-12-2022) the tracking number shows they are still waiting for the package. No sign of it. Last week I was told it had been shipped. Nope. I received notification today that Pack 3 has shipped. This time the tracking number is for Royal Mail. If it's not ready to ship within a weeks time, please don't send a notification that it has been. This is one partworks I've been waiting for with great anticipation. Hopefully it'll get sorted. Cheers
  18. laverdj, Try using a hair dryer - NOT a heat gun. I've always used one and it always works. Just take your time and maybe be careful around the lettering. If they will send you replacements you will now have a couple of test pieces to practice with the hair dryer. If you don't have one get a cheap one.
  19. The picture doesn't seem to load, at least for me. Would love to see what you're up to.
  20. Looks awesome kenerg. What kind of mods are you planning if I may ask? I see the Ecto 1 trying to steal some limelight.
Hello, Still Nerd Inside. I have the T800 kit waiting to be built. When I start I will refer to your videos as help for my build. Thank you for your efforts in producing the videos. We can not beneifit from the audio, as it is in Czech, but "pictures are worth a thousand words". I also gave you a few likes for all your efforts. Keep up the great work. I used Google Translate, so if it is imperfect, my apologies.
  22. Outstanding Joel. That is a great improvement.
  23. Oh yea! Very nicely done Joel. When there is room that is the way to go. Some holes there isn't any room, so a bottoming tap and shorter bolts is the ticket, if you're willing to go that far. Of course you can drill a hole and glue the bolt in. I just like the challenge of tapping. Are your bolts from Model Motor Cars?
  24. Fantastic start Joel. You and I think alike. I plan to replace any visible screws with bolts of appropriate size. If the bolts are molded in I file them down then drill and tap for the size bolt. Keep up the great work and please keep the pics coming. wyatt
