Does your engine sag on the chassis after Pack 4?

I just finished Pack 4 and the front end of the engine is sagging quite a bit. Are you guys seeing the same thing on your build? The engine/transmission assembly is very rigid by itself but is only held to the plastic floor panels by 2 screws so this may be the cause of the sagging.

Hello
I actually have the same problem
Note among other things that the original engine does not attach at all in this way on the chassis!

the engine mounts are not on the clutch housing but on the engine block as can be seen in one of the following photos

and in addition it is missing
the starter motor                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             the oil dipstick
the fuel hoses on the carburetor
and there is no hole on the bottom oil pan

One of 29 Competition cars from 1965 that became Semi-Competition, this model replicates every detail of the original Semi-Competition Cobras. Starting out as full Competition models, but denied FIA approval for the 1965 racing season, the 427 Semi-Competitions were completed as street cars, suitable for road and racing and marketed as the fastest production cars in the world.

Also noticed min is somewhat sitting wobbly on those 2 connection points only and does sag towards the front of the car. I hoped this will be addressed with a future pack though.

Maybe, just maybe the approach of Agora is just to include the details that actually will be seen on the completed model. But that's just an educated guess from my part.

It's very pity, that you want to make a model of a Shelby Cobra 427 SC you must

add and make a whole bunch of parts of scratch.

The sidewalls of the engine are pure fantasy, and like Pierre mention before, no starting motor and more missing details.

The model came from Eligor i believe, the same as the Cobra GT500 and the other Cobra from Agora, and

is definitely not the same level of detail as Kyosho and Ixo but it is a good base to make a nice model, but with

plenty work.

When you screw the model together and add no extra detail, it's a big Burago nothing more than a big toy

with lights and other electronic stuff that makes it playable (my opinion).

I know that i start with this model, that i love (i'am a Cobra fan) that it takes much time to build it.

And it takes also a lot of documentation, books and pictures of the real car, i post a link somewhere on this

forum with usable detail pictures. If you look at the pictures than you see how simple or model is.

I just completed pack 4 and I see what you mean about the engine sag a little, but I did notice on the frame there are holes right where the engine mounts should go.  Not sure if they are for the engine mounts, but seems funny they are there.

other note if you are just starting pack 4  it’s easer to put the engine and drive shaft after you finish the rear suspension.
