Hello everybody,

In this construction diary I would like to show you how to build the GT500 Super Snake from the new partwork provider Agora Model.I hope you enjoy it. Comments are welcome.Lg Sascha

Construction phase 1 - the front

To start with, the quality of the components and the paintwork have been really great so far. I am particularly looking forward to the model's whitewall tires.First we take the front and put it on a soft cloth. From the inside we then lead the grille to the front and screw it together with two MD02 screws.Then we turn the front and attach the bumper from the front. Make sure that the indicated bumpers point upwards.From the inside we screw the bumper with two MP01 screws.Now we insert the headlights from the outside and screw them together with an MD01 screw.

Construction phase 2 - the left door

It continues with the left door. Put this back on a soft cloth and push the outside mirror into the door from above.Attaches the mirror with two MD05 screws.From the outside we insert the door handle as shown and fasten it from the inside with an MP02 screw.

Construction phase 3 - the left side window

First we lead the side window from the inside to the door and fasten both with three MD05 screws. Then we put the hinge in the door. The mounting plate is then placed on top and everything is screwed down with an MD06 screw.

Construction phase 4 - the left door panel

We take the lower chrome strip and insert it into the door trim at the bottom. From the inside we screw both with two MP01 screws.
Then we put the inner door handle in the holding plate and guide both into the door panel. The holding plate is attached with two MP02 screws, the handle itself we attach with an MP03 screw.
The window crank is now also attached from the outside and screwed from the inside, for this we take an MP02 screw.
Now the door trim is placed on the inside of the door and fixed with two MD06 screws.This is followed by the upper chrome strip, which we guide diagonally from above behind the door handle and then carefully fix it.

Construction phase 5 - the backrest of the driver's seat

We now take the base plate of the backrest and put the chrome plate on it. This is screwed with four MP01 screws.Then the pad is pressed on from the front. The first backrest is now finished.

Phase 6 - The seat of the driver's seat

At the beginning we take the base plate of the seat and insert the backrest into the slope. Then we put the seat cushion on from above and screw it together from below with four MP01 screws.

 

Pack 1 is done, hope it goes on like this  :D

Construction phase 07 - the right door

Now we get the right door delivered. We carefully insert the door handle from the outside
and screw it from the inside with an MP02 screw.

Construction phase 08 - The right door window

It continues with the side window of the right door.
Place the door on a soft cloth so that it does not get scratched.
Then you lead the window pane from the inside to the door as shown and screw it with three MD05 screws.
Now the door hinge follows, we put it in the door as shown and put the mounting plate on it.
We then screw everything together with an MD06 screw.

Construction phase 09 - The right door trim

Take the inner lining and insert the lower chrome strip. We fasten it from the inside with two MP01 screws.
Then we insert the inner door handle into the mounting plate.
We then insert both together from behind into the inner cladding as shown and screw the mounting plate with two MP02 screws.
We fasten the door handle with an MP03 screw.
Now we take the window crank and put it in the door panel. From the inside we screw it together with an MP02 screw.

Then take the inner panel and insert it inside the door so that the mounting holes are aligned.
Fasten the panel with two MD06 screws.
Finally, we carefully insert the upper chrome strip, which is only inserted.

Construction phase 10 - the backrest of the passenger

Take the backrest and put the chrome plate on it. We screw these together with four
MP01 screws. Then the backrest pad is placed on the chrome plate.

Construction phase 11 - the passenger seat

Take the base of the seat and insert the backrest into the small slot.
Then you lead the seat onto the base and put the two together.
From below we then screw the seat to the base with four MP01 screws.

Construction phase 12 - the rear chassis plate

In this construction phase we receive the rear chassis plate.
There is nothing to build now.

Phase 13 - The lower half of the gas tank

Test the tank half from below into the rear chassis plate.
It continues in the next construction phase.

Phase 14 - The top half of the gas tank

Insert the filler neck into the tank half and fasten it from the inside with a
MP01 screw.
Then we put the top half of the tank onto the rear chassis from above and screw it down
both tank halves with the chassis. For this we take four MP01 screws.

Construction phase 15 - The rear chassis

Now we continue on the rear chassis, we also do our chassis with the tank and put it on with this construction phasedelivered chassis.
Screws both components with four screws type MD06.
It is advisable to wet the screws with a drop of oil before inserting them.

Construction phase 16 - The rear floor pan

Now take the rear floor pan with the cardan tunnel and attach it to the chassis.
Now screw them in at the back with three MD06 screws.
Then we screw both parts together on both sides with additional MD06 screws.

Construction phase 17 - the lower part of the rear axle

Now take the differential housing and insert two screws type MP03.
Then we put the housing to the axis as a test.

Phase 18 - The top of the rear axle

Now we put the differential housing in the lower part of the axle and then put the upper part of the axle on.
We screw both parts with four MP01 screws.
Then we put a spring on each of the two assembly pins and then guide the axle to the chassis as shownran.
Screws the axle from the inside with one MP04 screw each.

Construction phase 19 - Rear left wheel housing liner

Take the wheel arch and place it on the left rear of the chassis as shown.
Screws both with three MD06 screws.

Construction phase 20 - The left leaf spring

Place the leaf spring and the two shackles in front of you and align them accordingly.
Put a pin through the shackle and the leaf spring and carefully press the two together with a pair of pliers.
Once both shackles have been installed, guide the leaf spring from below to the chassis and place the shackles in the holder.Screws the shackles from above with one MP01 screw each.
Then we put the mounting plate over the leaf spring on the axle and fasten it with two MP05 screws.

Construction phase 21 - Rear right wheel housing liner

Take the wheel arch and place it on the rear right of the chassis as shown.
Screws both with three MD06 screws.
