  1. The jack is very similar to the jack found in the Volvo 122S. I installed one the model last night. The style is very different from any I have had with American cars. My camper trailers had this style however at the hitch .
  2. Looks great. All ready for the suitcases and a trip.
  3. Wow! Another well designed mod. Keep up the great work.
  4. Love the pic of you riding the awesome bike.

  6. I liked his carpet as well. So I used Ecofelt and glued it down with glue stick. It was Cashmere Tan .Easy to cut and shapes and stretches well.
  7. Lookin' good. Great pics too. I believe it is Agoras best detailing to date.

    Problem

I have used a scratch awl to help align screw holes from time to time.
  11. I like that solution . I would be hesitant to drill the trunk lid and possibly damage the great paint job.

I enjoy building models. The models take up so much room as you stated .Building is healthy for the brain and hands. I worked with my hands all my life and can't stop. I find it relaxing and challenging at times.
  13. DiAgostini has a Rossi Yamaha parts work bike for sale. You may know that already.
  14. Love the Vincent but the Honda and Kawasaki are great. I had a couple Yamaha two strokes including a 400 Daytona Special and a 350 RD.
  15. I build models to satisfy me. It may include aftermarket mod parts that add realistic detail . Some simple parts I fab myself . eg. metal hood pins on the Super Snake. Very few people ever see my builds and fewer have any idea what they are looking at.
  16. There are many types of modelers. I don't have much interest in the fantasy movie cars. I prefer historic race ,muscle and antique cars.
  17. This car was very popular with some good friends if mine with college degrees.. The car was very dependable and wouldn't die as I remember was their love for it as well as safe. When I saw the model I had to build it . Nostalgia is a strong motivator as I get older. The model 's components are very well detailed and finished. I have began tapping the holes in the die cast metal for the tapping screws. I find it actually faster in the long run and easier on the screwdrivers. The typical sizes used in Pocher models work well and can be purchased as a set from Paul Koos or on EBAY. I will post a few pics soon.
  18. Wow. All this intermingling causes me discomfort and distrust. It can lead to all sorts of issues such as price fixing for just one. It is one of the reasons I am more comfortable purchasing full kits which I know to be a controversial subject among many builders.
  19. I had them on the cars and trucks I drove back in the day. They were called "wing windows". We had to be sure the hinges were in good shape so they didn't fall out. Some even opened electrically on the higher dollar cars. I miss them as well. I also miss lots of chrome and the window gutters but that's me.
