I am building an IXO Volvo and am pleased that the electronics are testable as the build continues. The battery box is an early step as well as a on/off master switch . I have left the two batteries in since the first test which is a building step early on. The Super Snake (Agora) I built has on set of taillights that don't work and never will because I am not taking the model apart to fix them. I will admit that electronics are not must haves on a typical car model build. Once my models are in a case I rarely take them out . The die cast models are too heavy to be handled much and not end up broken IMO. Agora could put more planning into the electronics portions of their otherwise very fine models.

Lotus D72 completed up to page 22. It is now becoming fragile to handle.

Nice job. I love seeing the internals.

I am making headway on the Lotus. Here are a few more pics. This model is typical of Pocher as far as many small parts require glue however the details are fantastic. I like the challenge that Pocher presents to the builder. It leaves one with the feeling of accomplishment and pride. I get the feeling that I am actually assembling a real car.

That is huge. I have no room now. It does look like fun though. Thanks for info.

I have been distracted with other projects but I have made some progress. This first addition of Pocher instructions leave much to be desired . I have built several Pocher models spanning their existence and am used to their directions. I am sure their will soon be updated plans by builders including Paul Koos and Scale Models. Here are some pics of my progress.

The Pack 7 is just being shipped at this time. Notices were sent out that they were held up in customs. If you believe that there is a problem "Support" will respond quickly to you.

I have organized the parts and just started the engine.

They were carrying a good bit of weight and were known to be a real handful. I imagine the designers tried many size tires and compounds.

Apparently too many "likes' a day is a not permitted by the Agora softwareto keep robots at bay.

You put a lot of work into the interior and it looks great. I am looking forward to having cataract operations so that I can appreciate details even more. Thanks for sharing all the steps of the project.

I see the performing one in the video as a cute amazing fancy young peoples toy. It has no realistic visual details that I can see. I hope I am not offending anyone. I look at it through the eyes of a senior adult .

Thanks for the info. I sort of suspected that it was short on details from the pictures on the website. I have built several of the early Pocher "classics" that are great display pieces IMO that I enjoy looking at regardless of details. They are very challenging and require skills. I build models because I enjoy the exercise as much anything. I am retired and was used to building custom control cabinets and auto mated installations 40-60 hours a week. The models are a good substitute. Once my old eyes are fixed I have some great highly detailed 1/12 MFH models to build. They are a challenge. The contemporary 1/8 scale parts works models are easy but present well.

The several stage packs I have received look real nice as well as the magazines.

I have subscribed for the GT40(12 month) and The VW Samba. I have never built a DeAgostini model but they have been in business for a long time. They come with display cases as well.

Pocher did this sort of thing years ago. You can find them for sale on Ebay. It would be too costly to do this sort of pick and choose with die cast metal models nowadays.
