Once mine go in the display case the batteries are removed and likely forever at least by me. I don't want to mess up the model either. Some of the antique Pocher kits I built were designed for batteries that are no longer made. I didn't bother modifying them just to have lit headlights once. But that is me and I am a retired electrician. I don't play with my collection typically.
I paid for my Porsche subscription(Pack7) on Dec 28 . That is two weeks today and not a word from Agora. I will be very glad when my two subscriptions are completed. These models are pricey so it makes no sense.
Model building and communication is good for mental health and dexterity. I don't get out much but so modeling is great to do at home. I have only built cars and bikes but there are some other forms that are most interesting.
Not that I plan to build either but I have this picture of Agoras classic bus next to the Eiffel Tower being offered by IXO. I realize one is London and the other Paris but both are icons.🙂
I tried leaving a couple of "like" reactions today. I got a note stating that I cannot leave any more reactions today. Is it something I did or what? Franknstang
I believe the Porsche has much better detail overall and especially under the hood. I felt the Super Snake while beautiful was a very easy build compared to other 1/8 scale model I have assembled. The Mustang is a great build for a first timer.
I keep my present driver in brand new condition, inside and out, but for the tires. But each to his own. Many folks thrive on patina. We are all different and that is the fun of a forum. Have fun.😁
