Hi, my name is Bradford, I'm 54 and live just outside Detroit, Michigan, USA.   Right now I'm gearing up to start the Lamborghini Miura model.   Although I've built many models when I was young this will be my first build in decades.   I'm feeling a bit intimidated by the size and complexity of my first partwork model, and I couldn't be more excited.

WELCOME IN! You'll find that as you go along that there really isn't much to be worried about. While complex, the kits go together easily, and are accompanied by fantastic directions.

Hi Bradford,
Your message inspired me to introduce myself. My first name is Day (that's my real name and I am a third). I am, shockingly, 75 years old. I was born in Detroit, grew up in Bloomfield Hills and have lived in New York City and the East End of Long Island since 1975. After retiring in 2010 from a long and wonderful career at NBCUniversal, I returned to my early love of model building. I hope no one will be offended by my saying that I am about to build the Agora 917 as a "break" from two complete detail MFH models which I have recently concluded. They are great, but a lot of work. I have previously built four 1/8 kits: two by Monogram and two by Pocher. I trust I will need some guidance on the 917.  Models supplement my working on my full-scale cars: a Jaguar, a Ferrari and Porsche, which I restore and maintain myself.
