  1. I have finished the model and have no pics of the paint. I painted just the face of the raised ring where the wide and narrow sections are divided by the slots that the 45 degree bent spokes fit in . That part is covered later and does no show when the rim is complete. The left and right are mixed up in the instructions however all the rims are identical when finished. I put the less perfect rim I built in the trunk as a spare. I have made spokes from stainless steel piano wire of same diameter when necessary.
  2. That bus is going nowhere with the tuxedo guy on duty! I have a feline pit two as well. 😃
  3. I like the website and offerings. I glad you mentioned this custom after market source. Thanks.
  4. Me too in the US. But that display case beats and aquarium for sure.
  5. Love your build. The interior is amazing and and the carpeting. I am in the point of my build that I am considering doing the same. Best wishes.
  6. I use aquariums for many 1/8 and 1/12 scale builds. It can be placed over the model or a piece of clear lexan placed on top. I can be very thrifty .
  7. I did receive the Shelby Super Snake book. I hope you get yours soon.It is real nice. I am waiting for the Jaguar book myself which is late however it is Complimentary. I am sure it will be worthwhile waiting for . You may have written Support but if not you should. It has helped me more than once.
  8. Thanks. I found them on Ebay and now know what they are called.
  9. I am very impressed with the video and your wiring skills. Great work. I wonder if someone offers micro plug sextension cords that will bring the wires out of the model to a controller? Their likely is a source.
  10. I can't help with the count but love the plan. I wish the controls could be via a remote controller for all the models. And a remote power source to model so batteries don't get left inside to cause future inevitable damage. Handling the model, opening display case to show off the electrics is not something I wish to do .
  11. I am pleased to announce that my second wheel is going much smoother than the first. Painting the wide slots carefully with flat black paint is a must for builders that use headlamps. It breaks the blinding reflection on the chrome area. I do love the wheels when finished. It would prove helpful if the supplier could provide a spare spoke in each bag as they do screws. They spokes can be easy to lose especially when the builder has pets invading his work area.
  12. I would love to build a 1/8 scale 1937 Cord. It was and is a real beauty and there are not many around these days. I love stylistic autos built during the 1930s.
  13. I replaced my hood pins with brass rods ,drilled for the safety wires and chrome paint marked the pieces. The safety pins are now fabricated from chrome painted brass wire. I should have done this mod before even trying the supplied plastic pieces. The plastic is too fragile. The rods are super glued after fitting.
  14. Sorry. My bad. It is the Porsche Pack 5 that is late and not the Jag. I have all 12 Jaguar Packs now and have started it. My old brain can't keep up with all these subscriptions and such.
  15. Pack 5 Jaguar XKE is late as well. I hope that as soon as the Packs arrive to Agora they will ship to us. I don't want to wait a month if it is not necessary.I can't believe the manufacturer is able to keep up with all the new model being offered. Other makers are years behind on their new single offerings. I wrote support but did not ask the flex date wish.
  16. I noticed that Pack 5 has been delayed a month. Will a notice be sent?
  17. I will look into the column on mine. The shaft doesn't want to center in the column and throws the the steering wheel off. I also have the d door issue.
