  1. I'm going to have to come back to this at a later date. I'm a little burned out with trouble shooting model problems. I have the Revel model of the USS Constitution on my table now. The last time I built this model it took my wife and I almost a years to build it fully sailed. She died so I'm looking at probably 15 or 16 months. Including the small sails at the end of all the main yards. (I forget what they are called) It was a good run with Agora.
  2. Greetings. I recently posted about a problem I was having with my model. I was able to get the base working properly but had no functions in the plane itself. Obviously, a wiring issue. I ended up taking the model back down to the point where I could access the main board in the plane. On the main circuit board there are 2 connections for the power/data wires to the base, T2 and W2. T2 I am calling the 'Data' connection and W2 I am calling the power connection. W2 connects to pins 4 and 5 at the connecting post. T2 connects to pins 1 and 2. You can't go wrong up to this point. The problem in my case comes in pack 11 stage 1. The instructions show that there are 2 different sized connectors for the power post. According to the instructions you can't go wrong. My kit came with 2 connectors the same size making it possible to connect the post incorrectly, which of course I did. I had T2 and W2 connected backwards. W2 and T2 connect to pins 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 all the way through to the base. After following the wiring down to the base and connecting everything the right way, the plane is functioning properly. All I have to do now is put it all back together. Another thing that I found is the base battery takes about 12 hours to charge the first time and it doesn't take long to drain it. I hope this helps the other builders that are having similar problems.
  3. Can anyone tell me what the voltage is supposed to be at the power connector and which pin locations I should use to test the voltage. I'm not getting any movement from the plane and intermittent movement from the base. I'm sure that the problem in the base is a result of the failure in the plane. The system has to be able to 'talk' back and forth to complete the program. I want to be able to check the voltage from the base to the plain before I start disassembling the plane. Agora Sam, if you are reading this can you give me some direction? In the mean time I'm going to disassemble the lifting motors to give them a good greasing. Something I should have done during assembly.

    CAM POWER OFF

I had the same message on my camera display at first. Honestly, I don't know what I did to fix the problem but as it stands the only thing that works is the on board camera.

    Any tanks work?

I just finished pack 12. All I can say is good luck. The Bismark and the Terminator each had final instructions for connecting and testing the electronics. The Leopard has minimal instruction for final electrical connections therefor, nothing works except the on board camera. The turret is dead and so are all the movement controls. I'm sure that I will find and fix the problem eventually but it would have been nice to have testing of the electronics along the way and maybe a trouble shooting guide.

    Track issue

I just finished replacing the road wheel suspension springs, deleting 2 of the track links and installing the tracks. They fit nicely with 79 links but I am very concerned about this suspension and drive system. I don't think they are going to last long and the way they are built, they will do a lot of damage if they break. There should be a lot more metal in the suspension. I am not an engineer and this is just my humble opinion. I have been building models for around 63 years and I worry about this one. Agora team.....I think you should reengineer this model using more metal parts.
  7. Just got the notification from Fed Ex that my delivery of the Zero fighter pack 12 is now going to be on Monday the 22nd instead of the Friday the 19th that was originally scheduled. Typical of Fed Ex and totally expected from them and UPS. I expect an update from UPS today or tomorrow notifying me that my delivery of packs 11 and 12 of the Leopard are delayed. How do they get away with this? I've built the Bismark, the Terminator, the Zero and the Leopard and out of all those deliveries, I can't remember 5 that were delivered when they were promised. I don't get it.
  8. Me too. 11 and 12 are on the way. Around 10 days from now they will be here. Thank you Agora Team.
  9. Normally from receipt of the shipping email, it is 10 days until delivery. That is great news. Thank you Agora Team.
  10. It's almost a month since I was told that pack 12 would be sent out in a week or two. I've heard nothing and I see a lot of builders on these forums that are as unhappy as I am. I have two builds that are at a standstill due to these delays. What's up Agora?

    Pack 10

Pack 10 was delivered today a couple days before I was expecting it and on the day it was promised from UPS. That was a pleasant surprise. It is very rare for me to receive a delivery on the day it was promised. The track motors are in. The motors and the reduction gears appear to be more than strong enough to turn the tracks. Every remote that I have used, so far, have worked perfectly. I'm sure this on will too. Agora Sam; You mentioned that packs 11 and 12 would be available in 2 to 4 weeks. That was 10 days ago. Do I have to request that they are charged and shipped as soon as they are available or will they ship automatically? I'm looking forward to seeing this monster tearing across my lawn and shooting at my neighbor when he is out there revving up his little rice burner. I'm sure he will get a kick out of it too.

    Pack 10

I received an email this morning notifying me of the pending shipment of pack 10 of the Leopard. If the timing is typical, I should receive pack 10 around the 23rd of July. My thanks to the Agora team.

    Pack 10

No sign of pack 10. I emailed Agora about pack 12 of the Zero and pack 10 of the Leopard. I got an email back saying that pack 12 of the Zero would be delayed another 2 to 3 weeks and no mention of the Leopard. At this rate it will be November or December before I am free of Agora models. I'm sure that most of you are far more forgiving than I am but I just can't accept the constant delays and excuses and more delays. That is no way to run a business. Especially considering the prices they are charging for their products.. Given the past delivery schedule for the Leopard, the next delivery will be at the very end of July or early August and appr. every two months after that.

    Pack 9

I would like to expedite the builds any way possible. If paying ahead of schedule is the way to go then yes let's do that.
