  1. The build looks great and the mods made a big difference. I need to go back to mine regarding the front wiring and like your idea.
  2. The other must have electric window with control likely on console.
  3. The top crank is the wing window, the lower crank is the driver's window, and the lever is the door opener.
  4. Are the models weight actually 1/8 of the original car? I did not think so. I wish the models were lighter than they are.
  5. Model building and communication is good for mental health and dexterity. I don't get out much but so modeling is great to do at home. I have only built cars and bikes but there are some other forms that are most interesting.
  6. LOL. Even better! Your pics made my day. Just perfect.😄
  7. Not that I plan to build either but I have this picture of Agoras classic bus next to the Eiffel Tower being offered by IXO. I realize one is London and the other Paris but both are icons.🙂
  8. I built a few 1/24 scale and plastic. They were a disaster.
  9. Correction. The MFH bikes are 1/9 scale. Their cars are 1/12.
  10. I have the Mercedes preordered from LaGrand. One day soon it will be shipped.
  11. MFH makes some great classic bikes in 1/12 scale.
  12. I love the display and variety. The VW really pops. I love the color and have one in my collection.
  13. The several F1 1/20 metal models by Revival of Italian cars raced in the 1950s made a nice collection for me. They are beautiful.
  14. Here are a few Volvo sub-assembly pics. Over 900 pieces to complete build.
  15. I believe the Porsche has much better detail overall and especially under the hood. I felt the Super Snake while beautiful was a very easy build compared to other 1/8 scale model I have assembled. The Mustang is a great build for a first timer.
  16. The kitties brought you luck. 😀
  17. I keep my present driver in brand new condition, inside and out, but for the tires. But each to his own. Many folks thrive on patina. We are all different and that is the fun of a forum. Have fun.😁
  18. Oh boy. I had a hard time with the Super Snake and the horn button. It would be nice if everything electric came early enough to plug together and test. I was able to do that with a model I am presently building and can still test as assembly proceeds.
  19. The strobes are great. Too bad for losing the Ecto build and its maker. It is always sad to see a company go away.
  20. Lancia would be a refreshing change. I probably have many Ferrari models and that is plenty.
