  1. That's awesome Windy. You wasted no time at all. Did you varnish the floor boards?
  2. Fantastic John, well done. Both the build and and your Halloween display with him. A video of the experience probably would have gone viral. wyatt
  3. Stage lights up........... drum roll.........MR. Say, sir, you're audience awaits... 😃
  4. Well done mr. fusion designs. Do you plan on doing any enhancement products for this one? wyatt
  5. Yes indeed. Received my notification this morning. Looking forward to the official build by Dave Say. Should be a treat. OK Dave, get crackin' !
  6. Hi S4Simon, She's turning out to be quite an amazing build. Well done on the weathering. I really like the black & white photos too. Adds to the realism. When do you start rigging her? Will that be the last steps? wyatt
  7. Many Thanks General Lou. You've been a busy lad with a most impressive model. Wyatt
  8. Really looking forward to this Dave. Thanks for taking up the challenge. wyatt
  9. So Hatchette might be doing a marketing trial for a 1/8 Batmobile Tumbler. Needs to come with a Morgan Freeman figure in character, no need for Batman. https://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/kazuw01/diary/202110160000/ wyatt
  10. World of Wayne has started to build the Jag. Looks like you'll start with the engine. wyatt
  11. Hi Greg, I'm late in following your build and just caught up. Seriously nice work there. Awesome that you are using miniature bolts and replacing the phillips head screws when possible. I do the same and it makes a model look so much better. Looking at the picture of the transmission it looks like the tubing/hoses end in banjo fittings. Are you familiar with RBMotion? He does custom aluminum fittings and other goodies for model builders. Very nice fittings and reasonably priced. He does banjo fittings - link below - that would be perfect for your kit. http://rbmotion.com/rbmshop_3.0/index.php?route=product/category&path=67 I've ordered from him over the years and his work is top notch. Keep up the great work, wyatt
  12. SFB - congrats on signing up. BigBus100 - check the 'Official Build Diary', which will be done by Dave Say, as he will probably be the first to receive packs. Also, check 'World of Wayne' on youtube as he'll be one of the first also - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnqD64BMSRW6S8phmT1gohw/videos . Both should be excellent, but Dave's is going to be more comprehensive with tips, hints and mods. Looking at this picture his resume is top notch. I am so looking forward to this. wyatt picture is from the Agora news letter
  13. Hello Dave, Salute to your wife. That is awesome. I would love to see more pictures of the Shillibeer liveried bus if it's not a hassle. It is such a striking scheme and I read up on the occasion for that livery, My chair is already pulled up for your YouTube build and really looking forward to the modding ideas. Having quests on is a great idea. Sadly, the Knight bus would be a major challenge. Oh well. Thanks to you and Agora for hooking up and guiding us on this journey. wyatt
  14. Hello Pierre, Thanks for sharing that info and the pictures. Interesting to know that it is made by IXO. wyatt
  15. Hello Dave, Excellent. I 'm really looking forward to how you built those other bus liveries, especially the 'London Bitter/Omnibus' version. I have the Sunstar 1/24 version, so a/1/12 version - droollllllllllll. Just curious, have you or anyone in your FB group pondered doing a 'Knight bus' version from the Harry Potter verse? Can't wait for the surprises. wyatt
  16. Hello Dave, Welcome to the forum. If you are the Dave Say mentioned in the recent Agora newsletter then I, for one, am super stoked (chuffed) to have you joining us. That pic in the newsletter of the four Routemaster models is model porn to me! I am so looking forward to this build. wyatt
  17. In the odd chance that anyone actually reads this, here is a link for a RM build that recently started, although it's from Hachette. Same kit that will be coming to us though. Translate it and you should glean some tips from this gent. https://www.der-lustige-modellbauer.com/t34800-routemaster-rm857-von-hachette-in-1-12
  18. This is a nice heads up for people that use FB, Twitter and such and it would be wonderful to have access to that wealth of skill and knowledge but they have chosen to keep it private for some reason. As I don't use FB I guess I will miss out. There are a whole bunch of folks that are about to start building this kit and many probably don't use FB. Make it Public accessible, please. wyatt
  19. Fingers crossed the first parts start shipping next month - three days away! Depending on how deep you want to get into your build I can recommend this book 'Haynes Routemaster Bus Enthusiasts' Manual' by Andrew Morgan. Bought mine at: https://www.amazon.com/Routemaster-Bus-Manual-maintaining-Enthusiasts/dp/0857338498/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Routemaster+bus&qid=1632788321&s=books&sr=1-1 wyatt
  20. Excellent Mark B. Your CC may take a hit, but just think of that beautiful (and very large) model when you've finished it. Hopefully the first parts will be arriving next month. wyatt
  21. That is seriously looking good Mike. Kudos on the research. That's always a great bit of fun for me on these part works. Keep the pics coming. wyatt
  22. If you're wanting a preview of the instructions and some really good pictures of the completed stages have a look at this Gents website; http://www.britishmodelbuses.com/Build%20Your%20own%20Routemaster_Index.htm His build is from the Hatchette subscription and the build stops at stage 98, not sure why, but the instructions go up to 100. It will still give you an idea of what's involved. Enjoy, wyatt
  23. Greetings Good People, Just ordered the 1/12 Routemaster Bus. I've been waiting for this one a long time. Well done Agora! Thank you for this. And I finished collecting the T800 just in time to become an Agora Elite member which allowed me to get the first pack for free. just shipping. Thank you again everyone at Agora. I was a little disappointed that no email notifications where sent out announcing it going live on the website, nor for the fire truck. Oh well. So my wallet will be a bit lighter for another year. OK peeps, who else has ordered this beauty? Don't be shy. wyatt
  24. Well said Kitman. Wayne is a joy to watch even if you're not building what he's building.
