I have been looking all over for a US source for these for weeks now.   I'd imagine the Trumpeter kit (the other 1/200 Bismarck, at 1/5 the price) comes with decent set of decals so there isn't much market for them here.   I have had to buy decals for all of the partworks kits I've done - Delorean, XKE, D51, etc.   Why is it that the cheapest models in the world come with a sheet of decals and there are plenty of large scale example where they don't skimp either - Pocher, for example.  Yet $1,500 partwork subs ya get nothin'.

Anyway, rant over, I found a place in another post called customhobbydecals at https://customhobbydecals.com/product/kms-bismarck-wwii-german-battleship-ensigns-deck-aircraft-markings/ but they are based out of Australia and want $30 to send a sheet over to US.  $50 if you want it covered (for a $20 decal).   That's a bit much.   But they do have some marvelous looking decals and you get lots of extras for the ensigns, floatplanes markings, etc.  I would jump on it if they would ship for less than $10.  If you have deep pockets bloodpearl this is your best choice.

There is another place in Germany called peddinghaus-decals.de who also has a nice set (https://www.peddinghaus-decals.de/1-200-Decals-for-Shipmodels/Bismark-markings-together-with-3-Arado-floatplanes.html) but their website is not optimized for int'l shipping.   I found a few US based retailers of their product who focus mainly on 1:35 armor and have nothing for Kriegsmarine, one such retailer is https://www.smallscalehobbies.com/peddinghaus-decals/  I thought about writing them to see if they could do me a special request with their next shipment.

As for the one advertised on Agora forums (partworkupgrades) they are based in UK and they are also self-adhesive - I'd prefer waterslide as they are more forgiving.  I do appreciate that they are trying to offer something however.

Anybody have any other suggestions?   Maybe if we could get our hands on some of the decals that come with the Trumpeter kits... don't know if they sell spares over here.

PS I am NOT interested in buying something like this from amazon or ebay or those types places.   I wouldn't trust those guys to take out the garbage.  Small (independent) hobby-focused businesses only.   🙂

PS Also for anyone building BTTF or the XKE Jag or DeAg's D51 loco, this guy sells hard to find custom decal sets.  https://www.rail-roadmodels.co.uk/   He ships from UK to US for very reasonable.   His BTTF & XKE decals bring the cars to another level.   Still don't know why EMC or DeAg dont just throw them in given the price.    Maybe they think the waterslides are too complicated for partworks builders.   IDK.

I went the Custom Hobby Decals route.  Simple to apply and looks good.
