Is 1.24 a good size for a helo ? Are those rocket tips supposed to be blue ? Are the interior engines the right colour ? Can't wait for this !!!!

1/24 should be fairly big, as the AH-64 is a rather large attack helo.  Blue tips usually mean training rounds.  Engine colors are usually dull bare metal, titanium, steel.

Ok tks with the engine if you look at the model pics it looks very plain ? Unless that's going to change ? Tks for info and rep!ying.

I suppose you could repaint the engine and add some plumbing.  The A6M5 Zero engine was highly detailed and practically a kit within a kit.  But, a larger scale. 

 

I would get some lead solder and sprue rod and have some fun.
