Administrator Mark, The Master Modeller Posted November 19, 2023 Administrator Share Posted November 19, 2023 Stage 48 gives us the forward first class stair case, which was a very grand affair. We also get another light strip. First we fit the LED light strip. This clips in. Fit the stair case to the bottom of the deck. Three screws hold it in place, and a pin locates in a hole to hold the other end secure. No glue is needed. Glue the staircase wall in position, but test fit it first. I had to scrape some paint off the bottom of the wall to get it to fit properly. Screw the two brackets to the wheelhouse bulkhead. Take the funnel deck assembly and screw the wheelhouse bulkhead assembly in place. Now we add a couple more photo etched window frames and a grill. The frames were supplied in stage 22. Glue these in place with a smidge of superglue. The grill was supplied in stage 20. Again glue it in place with a smidge of superglue. This completes the stage.
