Pack 6 - Stage 38. Left chassis frame.

Stage 38 gives us the left chassis frame and a fuel filter.

Attach 2 connectors (the 3rd is a spare) to the fuel filter.  They are a push fit.

Push the fuel line into the left hand connector.  It's a tight push fit.  Alternatively, you can cut away about 3mm of the plastic coating and then glue the exposed with into the connector with thick superglue.

Fit the fuel filter to the chassis frame.

Put a bend in the fuel line as shown in the photo below.

The front screw is a bit awkward to drive in, but you can make it easier by pre-threading the hole.

Fit the frame to the chassis and secure it with screws.  It may be easier to fit if you loosen the screws holding the cockpit rear frame.    Note the run of the fuel line behind the cockpit rear frame.

Now we get to fit the engine!  Place it in position.

Make sure that the oil pipes come through the proper parts of the chassis.

Turn the model over and secure the front of the engine with a single screw.

Now secure the left side engine mount to the chassis with another screw.

This completes the stage.
