1948 Tucker Torpedo Model 48 4-door sedan

bin gerade so in Laune und habe an den Tucker gedacht, was für ein tolles Auto zu dieser Zeit, einfach grandios.

sowas als Modell in 1:8, dass wäre einmalig.

That would be cool ... the center headlight moves in the direction steered ... that would be a mechanical feat in 1:8!

It is a real attention grabber. So many curves and shapes . Quite a feat of body work yet still had the split windshield.

The other thing I like, and that I really miss in present day cars, are the triangular window vents on the driver's and passenger side. I see that these will be operable in the new Stingray. Very cool indeed.

I had them on the cars and trucks I drove back in the day. They were called "wing windows". We had to be sure the hinges were in good shape so they didn't fall out. Some even opened electrically on the higher dollar cars. I miss them as well. I also miss lots of chrome and the window gutters but that's me.
