Pack 9 - Stage 73 part 3. Installing the aileron pushrod.

We need to centre the aileron servo before we can install the pushrod.  Remove plug H1 (Top left hand side of the board) and plug it into the servo tester, then centre the servo.  (Let's just pretend that the aileron pushrod isn't already fitted in the photo below..... 🤫)

We need to unscrew the main circuit board so we can install the flap pushrod.  Remove the 4 screws and gently ease the board away from the fuselage.  There is no need to remove any wiring.

The aileron pushrod was supplied in stage 58.  Thread it through the hole in the aileron control arm.

Fit the servo control arm onto the other end of the pushrod, then, while making sure the ailerons are in the neutral position, push it onto the servo and secure it with a screw.

The cover was supplied in stage 57.  Screw it in place.

Now re-secure the circuit board and test the ailerons.

 

This completes this stage.
