Pack 3 - Stage 14. Officers' quarters.

Stage 14 gives us the officers quarters and decking.

The first task is to fit the deck.  Again, I used a glue stick to help strengthen the bond.  However, the plastic base has some protrusions, so I couldn't apply glue to the base.  I applied glue to the back of the deck.  I used a plastic bag to protect the cutting mat.  Apply the glue very carefully to the back of the deck as it's delicate and easy to split along the grain.

Apply the deck and press firmly.  Use clamps or clothes pegs if necessary, not forgetting to protect the deck to stop the clamps making it.

Push the cowled vent in place.

Push the next vent in place.

Fit the swan-necked vent.  You may need to trim it a little so that the end sits in the recess in the grey deck.

Vent C goes to the forward end of the officers' quarters.

Finally the small vent.

That completes this stage.
