On with Pack 2 which is mainly the doors and seat.

Stage 8.  Driver's door.

 

 

Just screw the handle in place!

 

 

Stage 9 is a bit more interesting with the window mechanism.

 

 

Fit the hinge first.  A little lubrication in the screw hole helps.

 

 

Now add the gears and window frame.  Make sure that the screws for the gears are just tight enough to hold the gears without any play, but not binding.

Fit the window in place.  Note that the window is raised and the gear arm is towards the rear of the door.  This is important so you get full travel of the window.  Check it by sliding the window up and down to ensure you get full travel without the lever arm stopping on the screw posts. You can adjust the window position by a cog or two if necessary.

 

 

Now add the retaining plate and check that the window operates smoothly and fully by turning the small gear.

 

 

Stage 10.  Driver's door trim.

 

 

Add the door handle and screw it in from the rear.

 

 

Now take the trim surround and screw it in place.

 

 

Now push the trim in place.  It just clips in.  Then add the window winder and the two trim strips.
It's worth doing a final check to make sure the window operates smoothly.

 

 

Stage 11.  The passenger door.

This is a repeat of the driver's door, so I will just show the parts supplied and the finished door.

 

 

Stage 12.  The window mechanism.

 

 

Stage 13.  The door trim.

 

 

The completed door looks like this.

 

 

Stage 14.  Seat frame and back.

 

 

This just clips in place.

 

 

Stage 15.  Seat cushion and a tyre.

 

 

The foam is places into the cushion, and the frame is clipped in place.

 

 

Then the cushion in pressed into the frame.
