Pack 3 - Stage 17. The engine mount and gun sight.

Stage 17 gives us the engine mount and gun sight.  The gun sight is a very intricate part, so handle it carefully.

Do a dry fit of the engine mount assembly first, to make sure you know which way the parts fit.  It is possible to mis-assemble them if you're not careful.

I found some remnants of sprue on the ends of the pins of parts 017-01, 017-02 & 017-04.  Trim these off or they will stop the parts fitting properly.  DON'T cut the location pins off though!!

Glue the left and right mounts to the front ring.

Note that the holes in the frames go on the inside.

Now glue the third frame 017-04 in place.

Check that everything is square.  Here's a view from a different angle.

Glue the gunsight to the machine gun cover.  Be careful not to press on the 'glass' parts as these are quite fragile and easily broken off.

That completes stage 17.
