The initial price difference between the standard edition & the special edition is very disappointing.

Having to fork out $950 up front just to cover a stand that is adding $50 to the overall cost of the completed model. Why not just add the $50 to the initial payment or an extra amount per monthly payment?

I was all set to just jump straight into this but now not so sure.

I'd have to agree... 

 

apart from not having that kind of $$ to put up front, the only way I'd even consider is to be guaranteed #001 or #427... not "first in best dressed".... not for that kind of money... 

And also that it only gets you a numbered stand and license plate, the model is the same as the standard one.
