help with the landing gears

hi, I'm just posting this because I want to know how you guys put the metal pin in the support details on the landing gear. i got lucky with my left gear but accidentally broke the one for my right gear and lost the pin for it. any tips are appreciated and welcome

I’m a bit behind with this build, but I have some input anyways, based on the the diagram I saw in your other post.  
 

I’d be looking to pinch the two pieces with some needle nose, hopefully aligning the holes.  Then probably use a second needle nose to hold the pin, sticking longways, straight out from the tip of the pliers.  Then, hopefully you can hold the pliers perpendicularly, and insert the pin.  
 

The tricks will be:

1. Using a rag or some buffer to prevent scratching the parts with the pliers.

2. Picking up both pliers, and keeping the holes aligned and pin aligned long enough to insert.  Tape can be your friend here.

Guys, I broke mine too.  The easiest way to do this is to use a pin vise and drill the holes out just a tiny bit.  The pin will slip right in.
