  1. Why thank you Delphine, 😊 I can't wait to see your turn. Happy Modelling! Phil.
  2. Hi notsram. Thank you for the information about R2-D2, I'm sure happy I wasn't the only one having trouble with the sticky tape. It's a lovely bit of kit though is R2. I been building models for the best part of over 50 years, yes omg I'm ancient πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I did have a stage of not doing models, like we all do I suppose, because of other things in life, but when COVID 19 struck, I eased myself back in, especially with partwork models, and when we complete them there is still that fascinating fact of feeling you have accomplished something worth it's while. Nice speaking to you notsram, carry on modelling! Cheers, Phil.
  3. Chris, I would just like to ask did you having any problems doing R2-D2? I found those sticky strips not much use on those pesky panels in his dome, I think I should had cleaned the aluminum inside the dome first, but got past that point eventually and so far so good, everything tests out nice, With just 3 months to go I'm itching to see how he works lol. Cheers Chris.🍻
  4. Thanks Chris. You made a fair statement about ET, because of the size difference the skin might not have the same problems. I really hope that is the case. Yes Fanhomes Optimus, the movie version is a little smaller, but still has large enough parts, but I think the build goes on for longer. It is more say flashy than the the Gen 1, but the Gen 1 from Agora is pure metal heaven IMHO and I'm seeing it in every part of the build so far, as you'll see as I have posted latest pics. I was a young adult when watching the Gen 1 Transformers and loved it from the start and I love the movies too, but I obviously do have more fascination with the Gen 1. Hachette I believe will be first to release Avro Lancaster, and maybe Agora will release it too, though I do know they are busy with the classic James Bond cars at this time. And I always have time to chat Chris or anyone else here who wishes to, and I like the community I'm in at Agora. It's good to talk. Cheers Chris.🍻
  5. What can I say? It's in the title! Pack 6 continues this pure piece of quality and this for just his feet and they light up. And just to confirm that I would guess that 95% of his feet are all metal and quality sprayed. And what heavy weights they are! Optimus is going from strength to strength and Agora we have you to thank.
  6. Hi Chris, well on top of models I mentioned, I have completed The Leopard A6, FDNY Firetruck, Mitsubishi Zero and like you I have about 3 months to go on R2-D2. Yes I was tempted to buy Alien, but also saw problems with it. Maybe I will do it one day, but not over important at moment, E T I will on too because I would like to see if that has any problems too, that will be like a rubbery skin too right. Hachette Tumbler at moment is a bit of a boring build at moment, and that's Β£75 every six weeks, and tbh I think over priced, but standard at today's rate, I may knock that on the head, because in January hopefully the Avro Dambusters Lancaster will be released and really want to do that, but can't afford to do Lancaster and Tumbler together. I'm up to issue six of Optimus Prime, I'm building it over a year, now this model is very different, I find it very good value as there is a lot of metal involved and every pack is like a separate build, plus I'm building Fanhomes Movie version Optimus Prime, different to Agora's but interesting build. Hopefully Agora release Megatron from the Decepticons. Hence you'll realize I'm a huge fan of Transformers πŸ˜†. Titanic is coming along nicely, about another year to go and it will be finished. If C3PO came out I would build that to go with R2-D2 and would also like to build the Millennium Falcon, but all of that will be out of my budget, so choices will be difficult. Thanks Chris.
  7. Yes I noticed that too Chris, I just hope this is not a case of overkill, because we are all limited on how much we can spend each month.
  8. Enjoy your modelling Bradford, and Hi. Never too late to start as I was born way back in 61, 🀭. And still going!
  9. Absolutely Mark A, the quality of this model is second to none. I very rarely rave about models, but with Optimus Prime, I have enjoyed every single moment of putting him together, always plenty to do and satisfyingly amazing watching Optimus form. Thank you Mark A.
  10. A most wonderful build so far, and I'll say it again, each pack is like building a separate model, but at its final stage you will create a 'Prime' mover. I can only give Agora Models top marks for Optimus. Thanks Agora.
  11. Yes I thought I had it the wrong way round when I saw the picture πŸ˜‚, but when you look at last picture it's miraculously the right way round lol. But what a fab model is Optimus Prime, I am enjoying every pack and stage. Thanks. Phil.
  12. General Lou. It was nice to hear you quote that 'perhaps' we may get Megatron after Optimus. I'll tell you I just finished his left arm and what a large piece it is and posable too. I'll give you Optimus Primes left arm if we do get Megatron! Erm just jesting General πŸ˜‚ But this model is fantastic, one of the best in my opinion. Thank you Agora!
  13. I would like to add that the quality of the work on Optimus Prime' s body so far is outstanding and already feeling weighty and attention to detail is second to none. So thank you Agora Models for a quality piece.
  14. As I am building Optimus Prime and just received Pack 3, but waiting for the instructions lol, I was thinking of future Transformers figures in same scale. Me personally would love to see The Deceptecons ' Megatron', wouldn't it be great to see these two side by side? Throwing it out there, while itching πŸ˜†.
  15. I'm sorry for putting a downer on people who like James Bond cars, I wish you all the best with these models and I know that there is a lot of interest out there for these cars, The only cars I will be building is the Tumbler and if I could get it the 1966 version of the Batmobile TV. I would like to see Alien, released here on Agora, more WW2 aircraft and ships. I enjoyed building the Leopard, so maybe more tanks and military vehicles too. And now my Leopard works perfectly. Thanks guys ☺️

    Track issue

I think you misunderstood Agora Sam, yes I have already received 11 & 12, I was talking about the similarities between this kit and T72, and the fact I was conned out of a lot of money, because I could not finish T72, because of Modelspaces demise. Thank you.

    Track issue

Yes I thought this reminded me of something, the T72! How disappointing this is because Modelspace conned me up to issue 10 of that model, and then they got taken over, I never received, 11 & 12, and I never even got my money back, I still have the T72, not fully built and you are so right it is so similar. I hope Agora are not going to do this to me, because that will be it.😑🀬😑

    Pack 6?

I am still waiting for replacement road wheels and pack 7, where are we going with this?
  19. Hi BigDee. Thank you mate, I also emailed Sophie yesterday, but I did not get a reply, guess they must be busy here. But thank you anyway, I really do hope they are being sent out this week, just can't wait to get my hands on it lol. World of Wayne has had his pack 1 for ages. Nevertheless its really fab to see these models come together, also waiting for my next pack of Leopard parts, thats a lovely build BigDee.
  20. No I have not received pack 1 or pack 2 of the firetruck yet either, wish someone would explain or respond, its getting very frustrating and wound up about it all.
