Hey guys, this question could be for Agora or any of the members who are building. Is there a reason half of this model is metal and the other half plastic? I am noticing pack 1 - 4 the majority was metal but have noticed packs 5 - 6 not so much metal parts at tall. I noticed that the upper body so far seems to be a lot of metal and then the packs 5-6 which are the hips and beginning of the leg are all plastic. Is this a conscious choice to spread out the weight of the model? or was it not within budget to make the whole thing metal? I have just finished pack 6, noticing it is starting to get very heavy and having it lying down all the time then moving is getting to be a pain and I am worried parts are going to become loose. Has anyone built a temporary structure or a way to hold the model until we get the actual stand? Contemplating putting some hooks on my wall for now and having it hang. This is by no means a complaint as I am having such a blast building it, just a suggestion that I feel like the stand or something temporary should become available around the half way mark.

Hey guys - thought I would share this. I saw a great video of a full scale t-800 Adam Savage build, he uses a painting method that really brings out the details/adds depth . He uses black oil paint to paint in the nooks and crannies and then use a brush/cloth to smudge the areas. I tried it and I’m super happy with the outcome. It feels a bit more used now - all I need is the model Mods eyes and I think this will look super screen accurate! Adam Savage video -

Ya they seem to be out of the eyes for a while now. I got the teeth which are 10/10, I need those eyes as soon as they are back in stock.

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has a list of all the tools needed to put this together? I am literally starting from scratch and I dont have any tools so I am going to go on amazon and just get everything I need. Cheers, Dan

Hey guys - wondering if anyone on here is using any of the model mods to upgrade their t-800? I have bought the finger joints and I plan to eventually get the teeth and eyes but I was wondering if this is something I should get first before starting the build or is it easy enough to take the model apart after building to upgrade? Cheers guys - loving the experience so far.

Yessss! Pack 1 finally arrived for me here in Vancouver in little under a month, it ironically arrived the same day the 2nd payment left my account for pack 2! all in great condition - so stoked to get going on it!

Anyone ordered from Canada? Mine says it left the UK on May 16th - when I track it on the Royal Mail website it tells me to use the same tracking number on the Canadian post website but this is all it says for me : MAY 16 4:56 PM INTERNATIONAL ITEM HAS LEFT ORIGINATING COUNTRY AND IS EN ROUTE TO CANADA GBLALA, UNITED KINGDOM MAY 15 6:25 PM INTERNATIONAL ITEM MAILED IN ORIGINATING COUNTRY EXETER MC, UNITED KINGDOM Hasn't moved since... and also I really hope there are no extra tax charges. 🤮 So excited to get started on this, I like check the tracking every day lol

Hey guys! Mega excited to start this project - thanks for making this available in other countries. Couple of questions: 1. How do you plan to send the base/plasma rifle? Will this come as a completed piece or will we also be building these elements? 2. Do you have specs on the articulation? Generally it looks like it’s mega pose able - just wondered if there was a specific number of articulation points. I am a film maker so I might use it to do a few short stop motion clips. thanks!
