Start by peeling the backing from the double sided tape, and place the tape into position. Them peel the other half of the backing paper off and press the foam firmly into place, making sure the curve on the foam insert matches hat of the seat back. Stage complete! Mark A Posted April 29 Author Share Posted April 29 Stage 008, fitting the seat cushion and backrest. The first part of this stage is identical to the last stage. Peel the backing paper off of the double sided tape, and position it where the seat foam cushion goes. Press it firmly into place. Then peel the rest of the backing paper off, and press the seat cushion firmly into place, again making sure the curve matches that of the seat. Mark A Posted April 29 Author Share Posted April 29 Stage 010, attaching the first carburetor. Start this stage by pressing the velocity stacks into place on the carb body. Next, fit the detail part into place, matching the shaped recess with the shape of the detail part. Secure this from the backside with 1 PS01 screw. Now, take the intake manifold and position the carburetor body on it. Note that it will fit only 1 way on. secure it with 2 PS01 screws. Stage complete. Mark A Posted April 29 Author Share Posted April 29 Stage 011, mounting the carburetors and Inlet manifold As with the last stage, mount the velocity stacks onto the carb body. Then secure the detail part, again using a PS01 screw. Then, mount the carburetor to the intake manifold, securing it with 2 more PS01 screws. Next, fix the mount into place on the cylinder head assembly from stage 3. drive home 2 PS02 screws to secure th emount. Note that the mount will fit only one way onto the head assembly. Use the pin to orientate it. Lastly, fit the manifold and carburetor assembly into place and drive 2 PS02 screws into place, securing the intake manifold. Stage complete! Mark A Posted April 29 Author Share Posted April 29 Stage 012, building the right gearbox Start by mounting the driveshaft onto the brake disc, then insert this assembly into the driveshaft housing. Use a PS23 screw to secure this assembly into place. Next, position the previous assembly onto the right gearbox, and secure from the inside with a PS01 screw. Stage complete. Fit the driveshaft into the brake disc, them mount to the driveshaft housing. secure with a PS01 screw. Then mount the assembly to the left half of the gear box, and secure with another PS01 screw. Then fit the gearbox cover to the end of the assembly, fixing it in place with a DS25 screw. Now, join the two halves together with 2 DS01 screws. Stage complete! Mark A Posted April 30 Author Share Posted April 30 Stage 016, fitting the starter motor and bell housing cover Start by joining the starter motor and the detail part. The detail part is a press fit into the starter motor. Next, fit the starter motor to the bell housing cover plate, and secure it with a PS02 screw.
