Stage 19, mounting the anti-roll bar and the right wheel.

Recommended Posts

This stage wraps up the front suspension. We have the brake drum, air scoops, the anti-roll bar, the right suspension upright, 2 brackets, some tape, and several types of screws.

Start by placing the anti-roll bar in place, with the chassis upside down. Then, attach the two brackets using DM screws. Next, the anti-roll bar is attached to the lower control arms with two DP screws. Leave these screws a bit on the loose side as the anti-roll bar needs a bit of play in the attachment points. (steps 1-3)

In steps 4-6, the brake drum cover is assembled, and the right suspension upright is added, along with the two air scoops. Start by placing the two air scoops in their respective places. These are a good press fit, so the scoops simply snap into place. Next, add the brake line. Lastly, the right suspension upright is fit into place, and secured with two DM screws. This assembly is then added to the rest of the front chassis, and is secured to the top control arm with a JM screw.

Step 10 is mounting the brake drum into place with 2 DM screws. 32.jpg.eb19dbfb1a9356a8ddddf33b1d8f57c2.jpg

(The next steps have you mount the other front wheel. Again, I left this off for ease of handling. Steps 11-12)

Steps 13-14 deal with the placement of the left brake line. It fits into the channel that is cast into the front chassis unit and is fixed into place with the provided bits of black tape. 33.jpg.f52b9978147eac6476369eeef7ba35fc.jpg34.jpg.d69c4403c0d5be3ff636426f7122df2d.jpg35.jpg.0de8733a9089d0e2cfa66c506d38fa78.jpg

Lastly, in step 15 we hook up the left wheel’s brake line to the remaining connection point on the bypass valve, passing it in front of the right suspension upright. (as viewed from the front of the suspension unit.

This completes stage 19.
