Hello everyone.
The Holes in the front of the Hood near the Grilles are intentional. 
This is not a production error. 
These are in the original holes so that the water can drain and does not collect in the depression... 
See pictures...

The assembly instructions will be adjusted accordingly, since the hole is not visible here...
