Mark's Leopard 2A6 - Pack 7

On with Pack 7 - more wheels!!

This pack is virtually the same as Pack 6.

This pack does clarify that there are 81 links on each track.  However, I've only done a few and have a box full of unassembled links!  I'll have a mammoth track making evening sometime soon!!

Stage 52 

 

 

Firstly, fit the details to the side of the hull.

 

 

Assemble and fit the first wheel.

 

 

Stage 53

 

 

Fit the return rollers.

 

 

Assemble and fit the second wheel 

 

 

Stage 54

 

 

Assemble and fit the 3rd wheel

 

 

Assemble the side armour parts supplied in stages 52 & 53 onto the part supplied in this stage.

 

 

Stage 55

 

 

Assemble and fit the 4th wheel.

 

 

Fit the hinge to the side armour.

Stage 56

 

 

Assemble and fit the 5th wheel.

 

 

Add the armour supplied in this stage to the previous assembly.

 

 

Stage 57

 

 

Assemble and fit the 6th wheel.

 

 

Add they side armour supplied in this stage to the part supplied in stage 55.

 

 

Stage 58

 

 

Assemble and fit the 7th wheel.

 

 

Add the side armour.

 

 

Stage 59 gives us a little variety, the drive sprocket.

 

 

The boss (bush? whatever it's called?) is screwed to the hull.

 

 

The drive sprocket is screwed together, but a drop of oil on the screws makes them easier to tighten.

 

 

Stage 60 

 

 

Add the piece of armour to the previous assembly.

 

 

Now add this piece to the hull.  It's secured with 3 screws supplied in stage 55.

 

 

Add the next armour assembly.  Again, fixed with 3 screws which were supplied in stage 54.

 

 

This completes Pack 7.
