  1. hello community, I was able to finish building the E-Type and would like to share the result with you here.
  2. Hello, here I looked for pictures of the original, there seem to be many variations here. I liked this one. The part is made of 1 mm plastic sheet. recorded, cut out and sanded to size. actually relatively simple.
  3. I don't get it now... Which oval part do you mean?
  4. Yes, I read English, but it's not the same with writing... because I've set my browser to German and everything is displayed in German, I sometimes don't notice who I'm answering in German. Using the lacquered thread as a kehder is a great idea, I'll keep that in mind. I take the liberty of posting pictures of the tailpipes for comparison.
  6. that is clear, the assembly only goes in one direction. It's about the ugly sprue points, which are directly on the visible side at the top. That should have been solved differently.
  7. Hello, the sprue points on your bumpers are a bit smaller than on my parts, but it's still ugly. Why did they put these on the tops? from below they would be significantly less disturbing.
  8. Hello, you did a good job of clearing the wiring. My tip would be to simply leave out the cardan shaft. This gives you more space for the cables. What do you say about the light? it just seems too cold to me, too bluish for this time. I think warm white LEDs would be better suited.
  9. Hello, will there be more information? I'm really curious about what's to come. The series announced so far are not 100% my thing.
  10. With my JAG it continued in the interior, more precisely on the dashboard. I'll show you all the pictures one after the other, just let me know if you have any questions... Even if it's not typical for an E-Type, I think the new look in wood goes very well with the steering wheel.
  11. a helicopter? "Boeing CH-47 Chinook The Boeing CH-47 continues to enjoy great popularity, even though the transport helicopter has been flying since September 1961. Boeing is currently producing the CH-47F version. The largest operators are the US and the UK. The Chinook also flies in Egypt, Australia, Canada, Greece, Iran, Italy, Japan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates." At least he flies and the listed countries are there...
  12. Hello, I just looked at the pictures again. What kind of lamps are they, they don't look bad and fit perfectly with the presentation of the 1:8 models.
  13. Hello, Really wonderful. I feel the Sterling Moss seat is a bit too light but the pattern looks very nice. A great model!
  14. The luggage carrier... For this purpose, holes should be drilled in the trunk lid to be able to insert the luggage rack. This didn't appeal to me at all and I wanted to leave out the luggage rack at first. Then another idea came to me. I cut the pins... Drill 2mm holes in these places and glue in 2x2mm neodymium magnets. In order to get some contrast in and to match the interior, I then painted the carrier black. Since I had to pierce the holders, I put small cap nuts on the tops. A cap nut was also glued to the connection around the actual luggage rack or was drilled through at the lower end and an M1 screw with cap nut was used. This is how it all looks on the model. Here the trunk lid now without drilling. And here with the rather firmly seated luggage rack. To explain, die-cast zinc is not magnetic, I also glued neodymium magnets to the underside where the holes should be drilled. Now I can present whatever you want, with or without a luggage rack.
  15. Hello, I finally finished my terminator. The base plate was a lot of fun, but see for yourself. Just human remains wasn't enough for me, terminators were also eliminated. So got a toy head, cut open, put old circuit boards in and flashing blue LEDs and rode flickering for the eyes. Here is another section from the base with atmospheric light. Now to the figure itself. Everyone puts their T-800 on its feet, that was too easy for me. I thought I would position him differently. Somehow I came across Shakespeare Hamlet. Although he says different words in the scene with the skull, "To be or not to be..." is the most famous quote from the play. I thought that was kind of fitting! So once around. Since my T-800 now has a skull in its hand, I had to think about where to leave the weapon. A belt was needed. A chain, a rope, a leather strap? It wasn't all right. Then I got my hands on a tinned ground wire from the car battery, that's it! And now, finally, here are some more pictures in atmospheric lighting. I hope you like my version of the silver guy.
  16. Hello, I work in the same way, i.e. without electrical aids. The self-charging of the flakes is that it sticks everywhere. I didn't know about the hairspray to seal it and would like to try it, maybe that's the end of the little threads hanging everywhere.
  17. I like what you did there and I see I'm not the only one with the problem... the statically charged flakes really stick everywhere. I still don't know how to solve this?
  18. Thanks for the tip, but what's the difference? What is the window crank and what is the other handle? Is the bottom crank for the window? Does the other Corvette have electric openers then? Then where are the switches?
  19. Ich habe damals den 2CV von De Agostini gebaut, und der Eiffelturm würde daneben sicherlich sehr gut aussehen. Neben meinem Bus habe ich ein 3D-Puzzle aufgestellt, das genau passt. at least in terms of the topic, producing the correct size is rather impossible. Der damals unfertige Bus
If someone is looking for a glass container for the cleaning water, I still have some. We would only have to agree on the postage.
  21. These are from an old in-ear headphone, I removed the case. I connected this to a Bluetooth module in the tank, so I can play radio music from my mobile phone. The original circuit board remains as it is.
  22. A beautiful combination, thanks for the picture. In what scale would you like motorcycle models, the market has everything from 1:3, 1:4, 1:6. I definitely don't want something smaller.
  23. There's quite a collection there. My showcases are already extremely full of the Routemaster and the L1113 with its additional variants.
