  1. The carpet is barely big enough, I've had to patch it in where the seats will be near the gear stick
  2. Surely the shock absorbers on a db5 are bright orange especially the piston....I've painted mine dark green with a silver piston like on my old moggy thousand
  3. In preparation for this build is there any info on what lights up or physically works in the cabin of the DB5. I'm thinking of side lights and brake lights or rear lights and indicators, or what alternatively works from the remote. This is in preparation of any mods that I might need to do......or does anybody have any planned
  4. This is exactly what eaglemoss did for the 66 batmobile just before they went under.
  5. I need the db5 to have at least the ejector seat and others like Eaglemoss db5 plus any new stuff
  6. Nope just a digital router at a glass local company (i know the md) Thanks for the kind words
  7. Video of switches and plinth cover. Ill be making some extra circa 1965 adverts so it can change with the seasons
  8. I cut the polycarbonate out of 6mm with edges like a jigsaw so they all interlock then used a chemical to fuse all the joints on the cover. Then used flight case handles to lift off. I also routed in Routemaster. The one i made for the Bismarck takes 2 people to lift off and its heavy. I made it before the ship and got the size wrong so it was easier to cut down the ship stand. I will make a video showing the finished bus when I've done my own adverts. I stick them to 0.4 magnetic sheet in order to change them when i fancy. Loved making this model hope agora either pick up the 66 batmobile or bond db5
  9. Also used an old scart lead as you need at least 18 wires for power and switches
  10. Built the plinth out of mdf, cover polycarbonate Modified the wiring to make the front indicators flash using 0.4 led and drilling a hole in the indicator likwise with the bulk head light. Switches bought from ebay, and road strangely made from material that goes into thermal lances for steel making. Oh and passengers from the hachette website at the beginning of this project
  11. As i pay my last instalment and wait for my final pack of parts to arrive of the big red bus, I'd like to thank all my fellow modellers who have helped through this build....you know who you are, together with Agora who have assisted when a problem had occurred Thanks you guys Now if we can just have the 66 batmobile i can die happy

    Light bleed

During pack 11 fitted the rear of the bus and decided to check all the lights still worked. There are 2 spots of light bleed where rhe near side indicators and brake lights are inside the area where the waste ticket receptacle is Easily eradicated with black electrians tape inside the sandwich of parts.
  14. Just to let you all know there are 8 In my case all modified to work outside of the bus via the plinth i made

    Bus stop

I don't suppose you have any plans to make this for my bus?
  16. Your knowledge knows no bounds Cheers
  17. As I now put on the roof the paint is chipping. Does anyone have a good paint to touch these chips Cheers
  18. Don't suppose you have a spare bus stop?
  19. I would guess the cab roof isn't seated correctly if the cogs aren't engaging with each other. I think its one of those items you won't be using too much so pick your destination now before it all gets screwed together
  20. Looks like you will need your finger inside the cab
  21. Does anyone know the date when pack 1 is being despatched. I know its October but when?
