@Diceman I have no idea. I also am kind of clueless as to how the top of the tank attaches to the bottom. Tracks are killing me. I was able to figure out how to get some of it connected, even so far as to get the tank charged and see the taillights dimly light up when turned on 😕

Got pack 12 and you folks were right - new Springs! Also, a few stages are kind of funny - one of the, 'stages' is just a wall charger. And the figure isn't so bad looking in person as it looks online, though it is still a bit cheesy. Happy Building!

Whoa - they have some nice stuff! And you are right, pretty pricey. I think the Agora model we are building is more of a display unit than something meant for actual R/C fun. Some of the other kits out there are less expensive, some can actually fire pellets yet none have the FPV that this model advertises.

I received a reply (I am in the same boat - paid in full) and they seemed to indicate they were not in stock and won't be in the short timeframe you are stating.

Looks like most of Agora's models mostly come from overseas, and are sold by other companies (Like the Ferrari 312T4 fromCentauria, and the Porsche 917KH from iXO.) I haven't seen this tank on any of those sites though. Taigen's look 'close' but better quality (less plastic) and are far cheaper, and lack the FP camera. Does anyone know where this kit is sourced from?

Anyone else having trouble getting the screws tight on this module in the turret? Mine seems loose no matter how hard I torque the screws, and I don't want this part rattling around as it houses the optical sensor for the camera.

Mine says it will be here by June 13....... which is a few days short of Agora taking my final payment. Have other models been like this? I understand they are essentially an importer/distributor, and I really wanna do the Miura (why didn't they do the Countach???)

For the tracks, put some duct tape arounjd a piece of 2x4, sticky side out. Plase the end on the sticky side and hammer each one into place.

Same here. On a good note, however, I finally have the damned tracks finished!

There are other guns available for other brands of tanks (Taigen?) that fire Airsoft pellets - has anyone thought about installing that on the Agora model instead of infrared? Could be a lot more fun 🙂 Also, looking at the videos, the drive appears to be binary - on or off - instead of variable speed. Is that the case?

I have now been charged for Pack 8 AND Pack 9, yet have received neither (though I did receive the corrected wheels.) Pack 9 doesn’t have instructions posted yet, I’ve noticed they do post them before a pack ships, but it is quite unethical of Agora to charge for two packs at this point and not ship or reply. Of course, we should probably contact support instead of whining on a forum they may not even monitor.

I was charged on 2/11, still no email with tracking. I wish they wouldn't charge our cards until they have product in hand. I did get the missing road wheels though. Took a while. Was just the wheel, not the entire pack.

I also have not. I think Pack 7 got dropped off yesterday, but nothing on the missing wheels.

Still haven't received Pack 7. I figured since the instructions were late getting posted that shipping delays got in the way. Is that true? Is Pack 8 going to be in the same situation? If so, are we going to be charged at the same time as usual for pack 8? I'm getting kinda weary, given broken eyelets/mismatched wheels so far about paying for two packs in advance. Thanks

FWIW, Agora has now sent me two sets of the broken eyelet sets. BOTH of them have the exact same problem. 😕 Doesn't matter how many you guys drop ship, if they aren't packaged right, it will be the same problem over and over. Guess mine will lack the eyelets which is fine, like the mirrors they are incorrect and oversized.

On the two front 'fender' pieces are four eyebolts, and half of mine were broken off in shipping. Also, the rear view mirrors don't fold flat, and the camaglauge doesn't really line up so well, especially against the reference photos.

Oh I wouldn't worry too much about the tracks being ugly. A little wear on them will look good and nobody will notice.

I'd be suprised if they knew. Just order another starter kit for your neighbor. For a few bucks plus shipping, that'll get you a few new sets of track 🙂 Hell that's not a bad idea now that I think about it.

You can pry it off with some pliars and hammer it back on correct. Same is true for either side (with the bars or without.) Guess how I know 🙂

Starting the tank, and ordered a nice screwdriver set. Question is, I don't see any correlation between the available screw sizes and the denotions in the model pack. Is there one? Or are these small bags of screws somehow proprietary?
