Recommended Posts

We start by assembling the gas cap and cover. Pay attention to the angled screw holes on the filler cover. Next, add the gas cap, securing it with a KP screw.

Now, take the previous assembly and mount it to the body from the inside with FM screws. Once the filler assembly has been fixed in place, flip the body back over and mount the lid with 2 XP screws.

Now, we turn our attention to the floor mats. You'll need the two mats, and the two lengths of double sided tape. Peel the backing off one side of the tape and place it onto the right  floor mat. Then, peel the tape from the other side, and place the mat into position. pressing it firmly down.

The next steps are all about getting the wires organized. I was so engrossed in doing this that I forgot to take any pics. I refer you to the excellent pictures in the builders guide. Suffice it to say that it is like taming snakes with tape!

The next step is to mount the cross shaft bracket.

After the cross shaft bracket is installed, The fuel injector tension rod is installed. this requires carefully removing the throttle adjustment linkage, and inserting the tensioning rod into both the firewall, and the linkage. Once the rod is placed, carefully reinstall the linkage to the injector body.
