Connecting the cables to the circuit board and attaching the chest matrix

I started by attaching the cables and getting the chest matrix in place before I attached the head assembly. I did not photograph the cable assembly as it's self explanatory. Start by assembling the circuit board into its housing.

 

Once the circuit board with all the wires is tucked away, the matrix with its cover goes on. There are 4 screws that hold this in place, and then two detail parts that cover the screws. I recommend that the detail parts not be glued on as you might need to check the wiring at a later time.

Once I had the chest panel on, I attached the head. You'll need 2 different screw types here, PB 2.3 x 6, and PB 2.6 x 6.
