Stage 73, The front right wheel arch panel

This pack starts with getting the dash installed, and the steering wheel aligned. It is a rather massive step, with many different items being addressed.

Position the dashboard and fix into place with 2 G screws and 1 GG screw, as indicated.  Then test the steering. Then plug the dashboard lead into slot A on the board.

From the dash, we move on to the bonnet. The hinges will need replacing so remove the old ones, and install the hinges provided with this stage. save the screws and reuse them.

Step 7 and 8 are the installation of the bonnet cylinder bracket. This is a bit tricky to install. The bracket is secured with a bit of double sided tape, so peel off the backing, and press it into place.

Steps 9-11 are the installation of the bonnet. There are no surprises here. Use type D screws here.

Step 12 is the installation of the passenger seat. It is held in place with a type B screw.

in step 13, the cockpit is installed onto the body. This is straight forward. (no pic) There is also some housekeeping with the wires for the door motors.

Steps 15-18 are the various wires being plugged into their respective sockets,

Step 19 is the installation of the insulating bulkhead. This is a bit tricky, as the wires keep wanting to sneak in so they can get pinched between the bulkhead and the body. Just pay attention and you'll be OK.

Steps 20 and 21 are the installation of the right front wheel arch. This are a bit of a pain to set into place, but keep at it, and it will eventually fit. (The left wheel arch is pictured)

Stage 74, The front left mudguard lining

This is a relatively simple step. We start by mounting the left side panel to he body.  Next, the suspension is mounted to the monocoque body with 2 O type screws.

Lastly, the mudguard is fit into place. (Screw 3 proved to be impossible to install, so I left it off)

The first thing to do is connect the headlight cable to socket C  of the board. Then, route the cable through the frame, left and right. Press the bulb into the headlight lens, and secure the lens with 2 M type screws. Repeat for the other side.

Stage 78, the front mudguards

This is a rather simple stage. position the right mudguard in place, and align the three screw holes. The challenging part is that there are 3 different screw types in use, so pull them from your stash of screws one at at a time so as to avoid confusion. repeat for the left side.

Stage 79, the tail

Start by sorting the frames and grills into left and right sets. Then, starting with the right side, position the grill, and then sandwich it in place with the frame. The fit will be a bit loose, so you have a bit of wiggle room. use 4 type H screws to hold the frame in place. Repeat for the left side. I was able to install this screw as shown in picture.  Hope this helps.  World of Wayne video also leaves out this screw.
