  1. So we definitely ain't getting them from our issues from Agora. I was going to wait for my next delivery to see if we get them. Thanks going to check Hacette
  2. Hi mate got a replacement on Saturday fixed it now but I don't think I will be turning the Steering wheel much once the bus is completed as you said it is far to heavy. Looking forward to the next set should be sent out the next few days 😀

    PACK 5

Tell me about it I must learn do do the model slower maybe 1 issue every two days instead of 10 issues in 5 hours lol

    PACK 5

They take their money out at the end of the month but don't seem to despatch it until about 10 days later.
  5. Just put mine in there is a knack once you got it in once its quite simple
  6. Cheers mate, i did oil it first but I think it was a dodgy part Agora are sending me a replacement so hopefully it will arrive before the next issues
  7. Some were painted burgundy while some painted black the actual lumb part was silver on most buses due to passengers placing the feet on it causing the paint to wear. I'm painting mine silver with black surround
  8. Hi is anybody having problems with the Steering column the cog under the drivers cab the screw hole is threaded and not screwing in securely I had to remove the bar so it wouldn't put to much pressure on it. There is no way thus will be able to steer the wheels it will just snap off
  9. 100% better thanks for giving me the boost to paint mine once I saw yours I thought that looks much better painted black. It was a tight fit but you have to screw the cab floor to the cab itself then it will attach to the chassis easier but you can't attach it until next issue as there is a bar to attach first........I might even paint the floor of the saloon a darker brown too definitely painting the flywheel cover black though
  10. Well done looks good. I see you paint the radio footswitch aswell looks more realistic
  11. Have fun mate I have finished mine got to wait another month 😔 lol
  12. You'll probably get it Monday mate I might paint my floor too I tried to paint the radio pedal switch silver too I masked all the floor around it but I got scared thought I might mess it up.
  13. Hi mate pack 4 arrived this morning 😊 I was thinking the same but worried I might mess it up but once the cab is put together the floor might not show as much.
  14. I wanted to do them but was scared I'd cock them up some RMs were silver or black yourself good
  15. Hi everybody just a quick modification I'd like to share.......just received pack 4 and wasn't happy with the colour of the drivers cab and the hand brake it look so unrealistic every RM I used to drive had a black cab so I thought I would paint it. Here is the finished cab and hand brake lever.......
  16. A nice MKIII Cortina towing a Sprite caravan
  17. I'd love to do it in the routemaster scale......A Austin FX not the rubbish they have today. I drive a TXE now rubbish 🗑
  18. Looks amazing just like the real thing well done mate
  19. I found the engine quite difficult to build (I'm not a experienced model builder) very fiddly so take your time very fragile parts especially the fuel pipes one of mine snapped but I managed to glue it.....just got the exhaust to put on then another month to wait l
  20. Love this routemaster build looking forward to completing it. My friend completed it a few months ago I was very impressed but there are a few thing I'm not happy about. I have been driving buses in London for 30 years now and I have had the privilege of driving the RM many years ago but as a perfectionist I have made a few minor adjustments. The first thing I was disappointed with was the click plates on the steps the screws are so big (see pics) it really let the build down. So what I did was I glued the kick plates to each step and covered the screw holes with tiny pins. Also the wheels looked unrealistic with the red paint RM wheels were mostly burgundy in colour (see picture of RM 857) so I sprayed them I think it mad a big difference Also the RM rarely had the hub caps on the back wheels it was the RT which had covered wheels. I'm also thing of spraying the platform brown to make it look more realistic but I don't want to customise it to much. Love to hear your views
