    Build request

I started the Eddie Stobart on Hachette but couldn't commit to 2 and a half years wait so I'm going to wait for Agora to bring it out if they do
  2. I'm doing the advert box on the lower saloon I'm changing the Heater control and putting it in the original place. I ordered some adverts from that guy on ebay

    Build request

I would love it if Agora Bring out a DMS Fleetliner bus, these where one of the first and most popular OMO buses in London Loved these buses it would be great to build one with their detail they even had a Turnstile to speed up passenger loading some had a device called a Jonson box on flat fare routes it was a glass box where the passenger dropped their coins in (no change given) and the driver pressed a lever and the money droped in to a small safe. There was a lot of fiddling i bet plenty of cups of tea.....another favorite bus of mine. A MCW Metrobus or a Leyland Titan bus would also be great to Model. Would anyone else build this classic bus???? Or would you like to build an RT like to hear your thoughts.......
  4. Inbox me your number or details and I will pop it in a Jiffy bag mate.
  5. Cheers mate 👍 I got a spare metal sign with the No11 route with all the destinations on it. it was one of the free Hachette gifts my mate gave me 2 it will look nice displayed next to the bus when finished your welcome to the spare one if you like I will take a pic 📸 of it when I get home
  6. Do you have the website details mate. Definitely give that a go
  7. I was at the Alexandra Palace Model railway exhibition last week and there was a stall that done 3D printing they even done Models of yourself in all scales wish I'd asked him.
  8. Was the sunstar routemaster 1:24 if so might get away with it. I ordered some stickers on ebay I from that link. I might still order the bus stop you can't go wrong it's only a fiver
  9. I almost ordered that Bus stop but then realised it was 1:24 scale shame. I wonder if we could get away with it but there are no measurements wish I knew what size it was. Nice though
  10. I'll have to get one im going to try and change that heater control and place an advert where it is give me something to do the weekend. Lol
  11. My front grills got one black and one red screw lol
  12. Well spotted I didn't realise they built different interiors thanks for sharing
  13. I know it's a shame. Very disappointing but the overall model is brilliant.
  14. I am really disappointed with this part of the build. The heater control is totally wrong I have never seen a RM with the heater control positioned horizontal up the top where a advert was positioned. And the real RMs had it positioned vertical in the middle of both panes of glass. I was hoping to place an advert there but even if I did there is a big bump and it will cover the heater control. Looks so unrealistic
  15. I like this ideal a guy has done to his build he has illuminated his side light and route number might give it a go
  16. Show as the finished product I think a few guys will probably give it a go
  17. Mine are the same as yours. They don't touch the ceiling there's about 4mm gap. Don't worry it won't be a problem just do a test make sure all bulbs work don't be tempted to try them the other way round or you'll snap the pins. Once mine worked OK I used a small dab of glue to hold the bulbs in place. Thought I show you this a RM tow truck and a RM open top lol he's done a pretty good job at covering it
  18. Who's a clever boy good idea. Unfortunately I lost one of my hub caps. But I painted the crew and washer
  19. Yes mate painted them separately then screwed them together makes a big difference
  20. I think they got that from a RT they were like that. Same with the wheel covered on the rear they where on the RTs not RMs. But still a great model. My clippies getting a bit inpatient lol
  21. Looks good mate. Its funny I have never seen a horizontal heater control slider they have always been vertical I have replaced the bell pull to
  22. Julian

    Bell cored

Yes thanks mate I'm going to order one especially at that price you can't go wrong. 👍
