  1. My rear axle broke too... just as I was putting in the final screws to secure the body to the chasis. It's ridiculously fragile for such a heavy model. I wasn't even being careless. I simply turned the model the right way up to see if everything looked lined up and one of the rear wheels snapped off. I'm not going to strip the whole thing down just to fix that so will glue it and hope for the best. Now that I've finished the build, it's obvious that certain parts have been scrimped on (the hood pins - insanely easy to break, the extremely thin chroming on some of the plastic parts that can be easily scratched with a fingernail, the flimsy steering wheel, and others). I know it's a static display model, but even so... very poor in places. Let's hope the Leopard tank is a little less fragile, given that that's designed to be driven around!
  2. Yep, it now links to the right model. However, my coupon code doesn't seem to work. I enter it and the discount isn't applied (still says 50% discount rather than 100%). Just me? 😛
  3. Not sure if this is the right place to post... but when you try to add the pre-order to your basket, it adds the Zero instead (for both 12 and 24 month options).
  4. Deagostini CS does seem to be sadly lacking these days. They've always been slow, but neither of the last two emails I've sent (one more than three weeks ago) have been answered.
  5. Can't edit posts for some reason... but I actually had a response from Modelspace a little while ago. Seems as though only Deagostini are handling the X-Wing build as of now. And the R2D2 build is no longer on either Modelspace or Deagostini. It's now on Fanhome.com. So Modelspace may not be closing, but there does seem to be something going on. *edit* And now I can edit stuff. Weird 😛
  6. I've just received my latest pack of parts from them (X-Wing) today, so they don't appear to be closing down just yet. The facts that they're not responding to emails, that they're the first parts I've received in almost four months, that they've skipped a pack and sent (and charged me for) a binder that I didn't order are pretty much par for the course from Modelspace these days...
