I liked his carpet as well. So I used Ecofelt and glued it down with glue stick. It was Cashmere Tan .Easy to cut and shapes and stretches well.

Lookin' good. Great pics too. I believe it is Agoras best detailing to date.

Wow! It is awesome and you deserve to be very proud of the job you did and the patience shown. 🙂 Thanks for all the great pics.

I like that solution . I would be hesitant to drill the trunk lid and possibly damage the great paint job.

I enjoy building models. The models take up so much room as you stated .Building is healthy for the brain and hands. I worked with my hands all my life and can't stop. I find it relaxing and challenging at times.

Love the Vincent but the Honda and Kawasaki are great. I had a couple Yamaha two strokes including a 400 Daytona Special and a 350 RD.

I build models to satisfy me. It may include aftermarket mod parts that add realistic detail . Some simple parts I fab myself . eg. metal hood pins on the Super Snake. Very few people ever see my builds and fewer have any idea what they are looking at.

There are many types of modelers. I don't have much interest in the fantasy movie cars. I prefer historic race ,muscle and antique cars.

This car was very popular with some good friends if mine with college degrees.. The car was very dependable and wouldn't die as I remember was their love for it as well as safe. When I saw the model I had to build it . Nostalgia is a strong motivator as I get older.
The model 's components are very well detailed and finished. I have began tapping the holes in the die cast metal for the tapping screws. I find it actually faster in the long run and easier on the screwdrivers. The typical sizes used in Pocher models work well and can be purchased as a set from Paul Koos or on EBAY. I will post a few pics soon.

Wow. All this intermingling causes me discomfort and distrust. It can lead to all sorts of issues such as price fixing for just one. It is one of the reasons I am more comfortable purchasing full kits which I know to be a controversial subject among many builders.

Thanks Thomas. I will check it out.

I don't understand? Please explain.

I had them on the cars and trucks I drove back in the day. They were called "wing windows". We had to be sure the hinges were in good shape so they didn't fall out. Some even opened electrically on the higher dollar cars. I miss them as well. I also miss lots of chrome and the window gutters but that's me.

Frankstang; please give us a review of the Lotus 72D when it arrives.
The Lotus 72D is here now. I will peek in the box soon for first impressions. It showed up fast. They sent it thru DHL. They must have a way to speed around or thru customs.

It is a real attention grabber. So many curves and shapes . Quite a feat of body work yet still had the split windshield.

I love the color and unique styling.

That would make an interesting addition to most collections. It took quite an imagination to design it in the first place. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks Mark. I will review it at least. It is shipping from England so who knows when it will arrive. Pocher has shipped it and estimates arrival to me 23 Dec. I also have a IXO Mercedes still unopened here from Santa. He came early. I am excited about both.
