Have you tryed a heat gun being very light on how much you use on it but enough to start its expanding then hold it down into its mounting position till it cools?

It can be dangerous and unforgiving .I have used a heat gun to shape plastic and then plunge it in water. Your windshield is would NOT be a good practice piece though. It takes practice on scrap pieces before one feels confident. Before the heat gun try softening the plastic with hot water and shaping it.

  2. Sorry to learn about these issues that you are having. I have a kit here but if it has issues I am not looking forward to building it. I never was able to get the drivers door to close properly on my Super Snake. The preprinted metal bodies are not easy to modify.

  3. It is helpful to have all the parts ahead of time to be sure of possible future fitting problems.Of course having complete model instructions is important. I often look ahead to be sure that I am on the right track. Some of us may have poor health and don't know how long they will be able to build models. I have four subscriptions ongoing and can't wait for them to be completed. Never again will I go the sub route.

  4. I have completed the Lotus . I am very happy with the build and kit. This Pocher model has many pieces that are attached with glue so patience is required but well worth it. I love the finish and details.

Moving along. Be sure to mount inside brake support before assembling brake unit. It will not fit over rotors in one piece.

My previous note regarding brake assembly order was not accurate. The brake support must be screwed in place first. Then install the shafts with rotors. The calipers and outer brake body screw on last along with the photo etched covers.

  6. I am building an IXO Volvo and am pleased that the electronics are testable as the build continues. The battery box is an early step as well as a on/off master switch . I have left the two batteries in since the first test which is a building step early on. The Super Snake (Agora) I built has on set of taillights that don't work and never will because I am not taking the model apart to fix them. I will admit that electronics are not must haves on a typical car model build. Once my models are in a case I rarely take them out .  The die cast models are too heavy to be handled much and not end up broken IMO. Agora could put more planning into the electronics portions of their otherwise very fine models.
