During pack 11 fitted the rear of the bus and decided to check all the lights still worked. There are 2 spots of light bleed where rhe near side indicators and brake lights are inside the area where the waste ticket receptacle is

Easily eradicated with black electrians tape inside the sandwich of parts.

i used liquid insulation tape on the backs of all my lees especially on saloon ceilings not only does it stop light bleed but prevents short circuits

I did file the front blind 80H on the sides to enable it to fit better.  As for expose plastic, the corner cover panels should abut to 80H so there should not be any exposed black plastic.

Had no real issues with front blind it's just the rear inner platform panel im going to figure a way to clamp it flush without damaging it then i will get some araldite and glue it and clamp whilst it drys

Not with the rear window, but I have had a similar problem with the blind cover at the top. Bows outwards quite substantially so not sure how I will tackle at this stage.

hmmm beginning to think its oversized parts

  4. has anyone else had problems with the rear platform panel at the top of window where the 2 panels join bowing out or cupping ? for some reason mine bows out leaving a gap between the two panels that sandwich the rear window im sure everything is lined up because screws all went in ok its like the panel is slightly bigger than it should be unfortunately i only noticed when the rear frame was fixed in place and the rear outer panel was on and im loathe to strip it all back off as it was a pain to line up and fix in place

That’s a great video. I have been looking at acrylic sheets to make my own. Also been talking with someone about 2 hours away that can make customs cases. Will see what he comes back with price wise compared to doing it myself.

yeah he makes it look easy lol

  7. After a grueling 4 hrs of messing with wires causing rear wall frame to misalign and then getting the rear panel on housing indicators and brake lights etc i finally got everything lined up and working so i thought i would share a short video of illuminations lol as i mentioned in a previous post i wanted my indicators to work properly left / off / right operated with i mini toggle switch mounted underneath also there are push buttons for all other functions saving my big fingers having to find those tiny buttons in cab

  8. I really get perplexed as to why this model comes with colour coordinated screws on some parts but not others it just seems really odd especially as black screw heads stand out like a sore thumb point in question being the upper deck emergency window  see pic after i painted screw heads to blend a bit better

    Hello,

As we said in our last message, we came to an agreement with EAGLEMOSS UK liquidators to acquire part of their assets. Since we own the tools of several projects that they were distributing, we will help you to acquire the parts allowing you to finish your collection.

Could you please give us by return all the information about the models you are currently building and for which you have missing parts. This will help us to send you briefly a detailed offer to receive these parts

    With best regards

I also miss the instructions to actually fix the push rod 36J to the steering cylinder 11E. It is a simple task, but what screw should I use?

Hi kjeld it's a GM screw refer to instructions pack 5

I am very impressed with the video and your wiring skills. Great work. I wonder if someone offers micro plug sextension cords that will bring the wires out of the model to a controller? Their likely is a source.

yes you can get pre wired jst plugs on ebay exactly like the ones used on model in 2/3/4 wire configurations right up to 10 wires i used 2 wire jst plugs to extend all my switches

I can't help with the count but love the plan. I wish the controls could be via a remote controller for all the models. And a remote power source to model so batteries don't get left inside to cause future inevitable damage. Handling the model, opening display case to show off the electrics is not something I wish to do .

i also modified mine with a jst plug for battery box which is fixed under my display shelf but can be unplugged to move bus

I am trying to connect the lower level to the chassis (pack 7)  The screw holes do not line up as the lower level would need to go about 2 millimetres forward, but it is hard up to the cab area.  I've  watched Wayne on YouTube and it looks very simple, but not for me.  Any suggestions??

sorry only just seen this did you get it sorted ?
