also fit the handrails to stairs before you put that curved rear wall on as you can't get to screws otherwise and that little stair led feed it behind rear seat and out near platform pole ceiling
Your meaning the rear wall of the top deck yes? Just wanna make sure for when my pack 9 arrives soon.

I had to pay for replacement parts for one of my issues that I broke a part on. Any issues that contained parts that were incorrect were replaced for free

Shame that the hull bottom doesn’t have any plating detail on it.

No there shouldn’t be

Why not just remove the music? Personally I prefer watching build videos without music in them. Surely I can’t be alone in this.

I’d say they would have to create new tooling. If they just added the centre section, it would create a weak spot along the length of the bus.

Those ones will be far superior. They won’t be flat etches for a start. For the price, it is well worth it.

They will look too small.

There is a curve between the red and black, but it's quite difficult to see over the short length of hull we have so far. It will become more apparent as the hull progresses.
That’s a relief to know then.

I’m disappointed that it looks as though the line between the black and red parts are straight so far. It was not straight on the ship. It curved slightly for its entire length. Noticeably so.

Very surprised to have both pack 5 AND 6 arrive in one box this time. It’s really getting big now and bloody heavy too! Posed with roof and lower deck just placed in position for now. I don’t wanna wait 2 months for pack 7. Might have to have a chat with Agora and see if they can take a double payment next week for pack 7 to be sent. Anyone done this? Can they do it? Fingers crossed.

Pack 5 should arrived today so can get on with building that later on.

Oh I didn’t realise the sidelight above the bonnet wasn’t lit either. Another thing to add. I did think splicing in would be the simplest option.
Cheers mate- 2

Has anyone added a light in here? If so, how did you modify the box for the light to show through and how did you power the bulb please. Cheers

Have a search on eBay for ‘resin people 1:12’ Heaps show up and they look far far better than the ones supplied by Hachette.

My missing Drive Unit from stage 22 has been posted. By the time it arrives in nz, pack 4 will be on its way to me too.

no for some reason they didn't bother which is weird really
Yeah definitely weird. Will have to modify these I think. Would look odd having them unlit when the rest of the lights and route blind are lit.

Are the sidelight and number box not illuminated in the standard build?

Dab a little bit of glue on the end and run it between your fingers before it dries.

I used some black insulation tape. Worked a treat. No more wobbly, wonky, cock-eyed wheels now. Wheels don’t rotate that easily now but as Giddy says, it’s not like I’m gonna be pushing the bus around going ding ding lol.

Hate to rub it in but im on pack 6 here in UK which goes to lower saloon seating roof and rear stairs fitted
Haha yeah yeah show off lol. I’ll be asking them to send me whatever packs available in a fortnight on my next payday. 3 packs in one go should keep me going for a fair while I’d say haha. Couldn’t resist temporarily fitting the engine either. Can always remove it again once the drive unit arrives.

that must be so frustrating especially since it has so far to travel i hope you get it soon
Yep very frustrating. I’ve got the front axle fitted and the gearbox finished and fitted, but that’s as far as I can go to actually fitting to the chassis since the prop shaft needs to go into the drive unit and then into the engine. So the engine is finished and ready to fit, the radiator is finished and ready to fit, just can’t do anything about it haha.
Upper deck ceiling

Is there any reason this can’t be fitted earlier after fitting the upper deck grab rails? Seems stupid to me to fit the side frames with the windows in and then have to try and align all the grab rails with the sockets through slim open windows with a screw driver. Much easier with the big window openings surely.
