Just to be correct, it was an AEC Regent RT, not a Routemaster.

And that is that. My bus is all finished. My hands are painful, my eyes are screw shaped, and I never want to see another piece of red anything for a long time lol. Overall, a fantastic model, very enjoyable to build (even though a few moments caused anguish and swearing) and I’m very pleased I went ahead and did it. Display case arriving soon so it will be protected. One change I will do if there is a next time, clean all the window interiors before they are unreachable lol. And now to carry on with my 1/200 Trumpeter Titanic. Peace out everyone ✌️

I’ve only got the 3 screws on the near side piece I’m so far. The parts just won’t budge. Close to getting a rubber mallet at this stage. Or just never looking at the bus from the rear end lol.

Anyone else had this issue with the back roof? How did you solve it?

I like how their description specifically states it fits a 1/12 Routemaster lol

I haven’t decided about the outside ones yet.

I’m not using the interior stickers. If anyone wants them, happy to pop them in an envelope for you.

Been a little while since I’ve posted to this thread. Just finished packs 9 & 10.

A nice wee touch in the correct pack 9 just delivered.

Awesome thanks Taffy. Did the screw holes still line up correctly? On mine it only seems to be the top that doesn’t fit properly.

Oh awesome thanks for that. Will have to get some. Touch up screws and things etc that screwdrivers have taken colour off as well as modded parts.

The correct Pack 9 is now on its way. Get back on track and in order lol

Yeah does seem to be. I’d be happy to sand the sides but then there’s the problem of paint matching and possibly messing up screw holes matching up etc.

Not with the rear window, but I have had a similar problem with the blind cover at the top. Bows outwards quite substantially so not sure how I will tackle at this stage.

Just had an email response from Agora. They have asked the warehouse to look into how this happened and will get the correct pack 9 sent out asap.

I’ve managed to do some of the stages that I don’t think will impact anything I need to do to pack 9 when I receive the correct bits. Near side framing and windows all installed and offside front frame done. Offside rear and back framing is ready to go when I have had pack 9 sorted.

Well I just received “Pack 9”. Except that, although the box states Pack 9 several times, the contents are all Pack 10. Not very happy!

That’s a great video. I have been looking at acrylic sheets to make my own. Also been talking with someone about 2 hours away that can make customs cases. Will see what he comes back with price wise compared to doing it myself.

Well Im in New Zealand so that counts me out straight away. I can find acrylic here and make my own I guess.
