250 GTO Pack 6 - Stage 43. Plumbing.

Stage 43 gives us some oil and cooling pipes.

The water pipe fits between the engine block and the timing chest.

Take the fuel pump from stage 39 and fit it to the rectanguular post on the timing chest.

The oil sump cap is fitted to the top of the oil sump.

Take the coolant pipe.  One end fits to the cylinder heads between the distributors.  The photo below shows the two holes where it will be fitted.

There is a pin near the other end that fits in a hold in the engine block.

The pipe looks like this when fitted.

Take an oil filler pipe and press the cap into the open end.

I needed to remove a burr around the inside edge of the pipe to get the cap to fit more easily.

Press the oil filler pipe into the rectangular hole in the sump.

Repeat on the other side.

This completes the stage.
