Stage 100, Adding the final details

THE FINAL STAGE!!

 

Start by placing the wash nozzles in the hole next to the windshield wiper mount. These are VERY small, and tweezers are a necessity.

Next, mount the windshield wipers. First, lay them out and ID left from right.

Now, mount the two dashboard side skirts, These are quite fiddly to install, and again, I found tweezers to be a necessity.

Now, mount the chrome side skirts to the rocker panels.

Mount the rear license plate to the body.

 

The next step requires a bit of care. Soak the decal in warm water until it slides easily on the backing paper. When the decal is loose, wet the area around the location for the decal. CAREFULLY position the decal over the C that is already in place. You don't have a lot of time to get it positioned before the adhesive locks it down, so plan carefully on how you'll get it into position.

next, mount the Corvette emblem to the nose of the model, and press firmly into place.

For the mirror, peel the backing paper off of the reflector, and mount it in the mirror. Assemble the mirror, and mount it in place on the drivers side door.

Lastly, mount the antenna.
