Stage 98, Fitting the rear exhaust pipes and the front bumper

Start by matching up the left and right hand tail pipes and mufflers. Then,  with an  FP screw, screw the tailpipe into the muffler. there will be an angle to the muffler, which is as it should be.

Repeat for the other side as well.

Next, fit both tail pipe assemblies into place, and fix in position with DM screws in the pipes, and AM screws in the muffler.

Once the muffles and pipes have been secured in position, we turn our attention to the front clip.

The front grill needs to be replaced, so start by dismounting the old grill, then replacing it with the new one. The only difference is the center mounting post which is far too long on the original part.

Now, disconnect cables A5 and A6 from the harness. Place the LED bulb from A5 into left turn signal lamp position.Then, using 3 small pieces of tape, secure the cable across the front of the front body panel.

Once this cable is in position, take cable A6, and press it into the right turn signal.

Once this is in position, locate the front bumper brackets, and screw them into position with DM screws. (Right hand side pictured) Repeat for both sides.

Once this is done, bundle the cables together on each side, and use a piece of medium tape to secure each bundle.

Next, take the main chassis, and the body and place them side by side. connect the E and Mot cables to power the front head lights. once power is on, open the head lights. Now, using a small piece of double sided tape, get some slack in the headlight cable bundle, and using the double sided tape, tape the wires down.

Repeat on the right hand side, only this time use a piece of the medium black tape.

Check the position of the cable bundles by cycling the headlight position a few times. adjust as necessary.

Now, take a large piece of the double side tape, and peeling one side of the backing paper off, and place it behind the right hand headlight, on the main body. Then, stick both the right and left hand headlight cable bundles onto the double sided tape after you have peeled the second piece of backing paper off. Then, once the cables are in position, take another piece of double sided tape, peel one side of the backing paper off, and put it in position over the cables and stick it onto the first piece of double sided tape.

The next step is to use the two plugs to cover the two holes in the front body panel.

Lastly, mount the front body panel to the main body with CM screws for the bumper brackets, and KP screws to mount the front grill assembly to the body.
