Labeling the eletrical components

Recommended Posts

I did not photograph the actual labeling part as it is very self explanatory.

Starting with step 6, we add the "collar bones" to our build. You'll need part TR-12-60 and 4x 2.6 x 8mm screws. (The directions have you start with the right arm assembly, although I suppose it doesn't really matter which arm you start with) Once yo are done with one arm, do the same with the other arm as well.  Now, take the back assembly from earlier, and position it in place and secure with 4x 3x6 bolts and washers. This yields a rather awkward assembly.

The next bit of assembly is the installation of 2 brackets for forthcoming body panels. These are parts TR-12-69. I found it easier to screw the subsequent parts down when I had the shoulder assembly perched on a tall box. You'll want to make sure the smoke stacks clear your working surface.

Now we assemble the next 2 parts which install onto the brackets we just put in place. These parts are handed, but the silver detail parts are not. Secure the detail part in place with 2 PB 2 x 4 screws. Install these two parts onto the underside of the shoulder assembly with 2.3 x 6 screws. next, label the two cables coming up from the torso.

Lastly, we install the shoulders onto the body! Place the shoulder assembly into position on the torso, and secure with 6x 2.6 x 8 screws.
