  1. Hallo,

that is clear, the assembly only goes in one direction.

It's about the ugly sprue points, which are directly on the visible side at the top.

That should have been solved differently.

  3. a helicopter?

    "Boeing CH-47 Chinook
The Boeing CH-47 continues to enjoy great popularity, even though the transport helicopter has been flying since September 1961. Boeing is currently producing the CH-47F version. The largest operators are the US and the UK. The Chinook also flies in Egypt, Australia, Canada, Greece, Iran, Italy, Japan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates."

At least he flies and the listed countries are there...

  4. The luggage carrier...

For this purpose, holes should be drilled in the trunk lid to be able to insert the luggage rack.

    Rack01.jpg.a7c568be48b335f0ff329a07e9b47c83.jpg

This didn't appeal to me at all and I wanted to leave out the luggage rack at first. Then another idea came to me.

    I cut the pins...

    Rack02.jpg.050ddbb9b370c2fddd14e5a12cb58148.jpg

Drill 2mm holes in these places and glue in 2x2mm neodymium magnets.

    Rack03.jpg.05702f01399ca87aae6e88afc40eb674.jpg

In order to get some contrast in and to match the interior, I then painted the carrier black.

    Rack04.jpg.69712d4707332a3895b55828b4476c11.jpg

Since I had to pierce the holders, I put small cap nuts on the tops.

A cap nut was also glued to the connection around the actual luggage rack or was drilled through at the lower end and an M1 screw with cap nut was used.

    Rack05.jpg.a1f5cd6db7149f912fd8244bec9eb7ea.jpg

    Rack06.jpg.c87f9367121c56ba6f1d2af5e05863af.jpg

This is how it all looks on the model. Here the trunk lid now without drilling.

    Rack07.jpg.7c8ebeb6433df48bb2baf40f33c013f3.jpg

And here with the rather firmly seated luggage rack.

    Rack08.thumb.jpg.502eb5fa4af0f24db33f6308bf34da3a.jpg

To explain, die-cast zinc is not magnetic, I also glued neodymium magnets to the underside where the holes should be drilled.

Now I can present whatever you want, with or without a luggage rack.

  5. Hello,

I finally finished my terminator. The base plate was a lot of fun, but see for yourself.

    T1.jpg.4ef07d7b1e10269b1d780bf5fb86f6c5.jpg

    T2.jpg.a5d77aab782fdd09a6aea0c28a36f5ea.jpg

Just human remains wasn't enough for me, terminators were also eliminated. So got a toy head, cut open, put old circuit boards in and flashing blue LEDs and rode flickering for the eyes.

    T3.jpg.5b85d5e23df9d1373299486ee591e828.jpg

Here is another section from the base with atmospheric light.

Now to the figure itself. Everyone puts their T-800 on its feet, that was too easy for me. I thought I would position him differently. Somehow I came across Shakespeare Hamlet. Although he says different words in the scene with the skull, "To be or not to be..." is the most famous quote from the play. I thought that was kind of fitting!

    So once around.

    T10.thumb.jpg.f18ab25c2a19b577db94c2c792440d5c.jpg

Since my T-800 now has a skull in its hand, I had to think about where to leave the weapon. A belt was needed. A chain, a rope, a leather strap? It wasn't all right. Then I got my hands on a tinned ground wire from the car battery, that's it!

And now, finally, here are some more pictures in atmospheric lighting.

I hope you like my version of the silver guy.

  6. Hello,

I work in the same way, i.e. without electrical aids. The self-charging of the flakes is that it sticks everywhere. I didn't know about the hairspray to seal it and would like to try it, maybe that's the end of the little threads hanging everywhere.

  7. Thanks for the tip, but what's the difference?

What is the window crank and what is the other handle? Is the bottom crank for the window?

Does the other Corvette have electric openers then? Then where are the switches?Corv-Door2a.jpg.bd59f8c3c927b14439ec9e40c29e7526.jpg

  8. Ich habe damals den 2CV von De Agostini gebaut, und der Eiffelturm würde daneben sicherlich sehr gut aussehen.

Neben meinem Bus habe ich ein 3D-Puzzle aufgestellt, das genau passt. at least in terms of the topic, producing the correct size is rather impossible.

If someone is looking for a glass container for the cleaning water, I still have some. We would only have to agree on the postage.

What are the loudspeakers? They are fantastic! Will you use these instead of the sound module?

These are from an old in-ear headphone, I removed the case. I connected this to a Bluetooth module in the tank, so I can play radio music from my mobile phone. The original circuit board remains as it is.
