My attempt to get the front indicators working.  I drilled a 1mm hole through the bracket locating peg to run the LED wires through (note the off side locating hole is a blind hole, so had to drill that as well 1.5mm).

I drilled a 1.5mm hole into the indicator from below the hinge at a slight upward angle, in about 3 to 4mm

I then joined all of the wiring via the front hinged grill

Thanks to the other Modder for their ideas and tips, you may also note I also install an LED into the nearside marker light.

That's a very neat job I wish I did that I drilled slightly away from the bracket

ok so here goes ive done my indicators to be absolutely honest they didn't quite work out as i hoped the indicator lens were way thinner then i was expecting meaning the 0803 smd was wider than the thinnest point of the lens especially since they taper from body of bus towards the end, it ended up with a channel grooved into the lens rather than a hole so im not exactly happy with the end result but it was the only way i could do it i used a series of very small drills starting with 0.8mm and finishing with  1.4mm i then glued the smd in place to kinda seal it so i could paint round it to try and blend it best i could (see pics ) ive uploaded a video to youtube to show the working result

Giddykippa, couldn't you have drilled a smaller hole between the 2 attachment holes for an invisible method.  Not tried myself, just a thought.

I done the same Taffy it would of been a lot harder there is a thick piece of metal frame work to drill through so I only drilled through the outer wall once the job is completed its not noticeable

so unfortunately i got a little screwdriver scratch on my "yellow" relief band that runs round the bus i thought buttermilk might be a good match but it isn't i was just wondering does anyone know the best match to touch up with ?

I did the same Someone told me Humbrol 103 I bought it and it didn't really match I think you may have to mix yourself trial and error I scratched both sides

It appears on my 2 central roof panels on pack 10 that some of the screw holes either half align or completely way off. Anyone else got these issues?

I thought i would share these modifications ive made to the electronics on my bus i wasn't really happy with the function buttons in the cab apart from being tiny and fragile they're difficult to get to with fingers and also run the risk of failing if pressed too many times so i decided to use some external mini momentary push buttons i got off ebay

there is quite a bit of room underneath the stairs and as i had already decided to move the battery compartment outside the bus ( making battery changes easier also ) i used that extra room i drilled 6 x 7mm holes for 5 push buttons and a on/off/on mini toggle switch i made some little JST plug extensions wiring in the buttons and then plugging the wires from horn, brake pedal, cab light running lights and destination lights meaning when i pressed each button it connected the relevant button from the cab the toggle switch was used to make the indicators work left front and rear and right front and rear ( see my post on using 0805 SMDs to run the front indicators ) if i move the toggle left nearside indicators flash and switching right operates the right side middle position is off ive also made a small sound box but i will make a separate post for that hope that explains everything enjoy the videos i made

Bloody upstairs interior mirror above the stairs snapped now poorly made this build. Tf for superglue

Will I have to reorder two more indicators before I start pack 9 as my cat pulled them apart or can I continue and install light later. Looks great paul

Cheers mate thanks I will keep it like that my wife said it was good too The reason why I took on this Project is because I keep modifying my bus and I don't wanna mess it up I get too impatient For the next issues to come There is no way I could have done this with hatchet It takes too long lol
