I am happy see Agora listening to this forum about concerns of paint quality and detailing, to keep focus on this topic I am requesting again for Agora to release a better quality subscription product than DeAgostini and Eaglemoss; I had an extensive collection of 1/18 and 1/12 that has been reduced considerably to focus on high quality replica models and 1/8th scale , I sincerely hope the suggestions to improve the XKE roadster are applied as I have yet to see an Agora product satisfying for my collection. If necessary I would be receptive to a price increase but it would have to be justified by much better detailing-currently most 1/8 product is on level of Burago/Maisto paintwork [DeAgo GT500 and Ferraro 312T4 comes to mind] which is unacceptable. Perhaps offering a 'standard' and 'high detail' option might satisfy the general public and collectors looking for what I speak about? Take a look at Hatchette's Lamborghini Miura recent subscription offering for an example-micro switch inside the door for interior lightening activation, carpeting on the door trim panel, full lightning of the instrument panel, very thin gauge lenses that are plastic wrapped on both sides for transportation protection and high quality paint finish, instrument panel is 'soft touch' plastic of high quality.

Bravo adding the microvolt details and refinishing, it really helps the rather plain looking tooling. Hopefully Agora will take note of this and add detailing in their future projects.

Very encouraging, those seats look MUCH better than the coupe model. Could you please consider making the center dash toggle switches separate parts? They look toylike molded in like that.

True that MFH kits are excellent and loaded with detail BUT you'll need to be an Expert modeler to build one; expect to spend lots of time fitting and trimming parts, if successful you'll have an accomplishment to break proud of-not many process modeling skills to do it however.

I'm cautiously interested; the DeAg coupe was OK; but had areas of opportunity that I hope Agora can capitalize on, such as dashboard toggle switches and body fit/finishm door gaps were not that good -however the wire wheels were gorgeous.

My first pack arrived yesterday here in the US: packaging is well done, parts are well protected. Paint quality was a concern, I'm pleased with it, hood and scoop paint are excellent. rHopefully color match to the body, doors ,etc will be equally good, and then there's the concern of color match to parts being painted at different times as they are distributed.

I'm also a Us subscriber; but my tracking number indicates shipment is coming from GB; are other US subscribers getting theirs from GB too????

A bit disappointed in the lack of detail on the carb and intake manifold; I will be looking to add bolt details and possibly a carb from Shapeways---and looking for photos of the actual intake for reference.

Impressive to see tire sidewall engravings as well as the white lettering, and a tire valve too on the wheel.

When offering a more basic display stand, please consider a display cover , either as an option or inclusive.

Mr. Rotten is dreaming to think the entire assembly is cast of metal; Pocher never did it, nor has anyone else. The cost of tooling for metal casting, due the high temperatures would make this Cobra at least twice as expensive.

The engine looks quite good, I would not be concerned about the screws on the first side as it will be hidden by the pressure tank and plumbing. Hopefully the body paint quality will be smooth and not have an orange peel look; that would be a deal breaker for me.

Lamborgini Muira gets my vote.

With all the pandemic activity I have encountered delays on other subscription models; should we prepare ourselves for a delay of the Cobra shipments as well?

Have patience; imagine what it would be like to sort through 400 number choices and try to decide who gets a specific number if , say 10-15 people made the same choice? The email I received requested 10 choices, I'll be satisfied with any one of them.............

Allow me to answer this; the Cobra rear tires are considerably wider than the Super Snake; however you should be able to find a decal maker to supply you with what you seek.

I have subscribed to the limited edition version; love the display base; please consider offering an acrylic cover to enclose the model and the base. Here in the US we never had the option of a display case from that 'other' company- Thanks Agora for including us. I'm sure the limited edition will sell out.
Question; will the LED base lights be battery powered, perhaps offer an AC adapter ?
Ever consider offering a polished body version Limited Edition?

Sign me up for that one!

I would like to see the iconic Lotus 49 Cosworth V8 Formula 1 car produced; Aspect Models did this many years ago, and should have reissued it--it was the first win for the Cosworth V8 in Formula 1 at the Dutch GP; this is a 'no brainer'

Hello!
in Forum Chat
This should be an interesting venture, I'm impressed with the 3D scanning method used by a well know high end finished modeling company, I'm hoping for similar quality in parts and paint finish.

I purchased the 12 month regular subscription; the extras in the gold and silver editions did not interest me. I wonder why these editions do not offer color choices; such as a Limited Edition 100 issues only in Opalescent Silver Blue
